“I was traveling from Florida to Louisiana. My jeep overheated after driving through the Mobile tunnel. I pulled over and checked online for nearby car care services. Fortunately, Downtown Car Care was suggested. They quickly and accurately diagnosed the problem. I also had noted that my brakes were noisy. They replaced pads, rotors, and brake fluid. They worked very hard to get me on my way quickly. The bill was very reasonable. I can’t recommend them enough. If I lived in Mobile, I would go back for all of my car care needs.”

My truck is my livelihood and I wouldn’t trust it or any of my other vehicles with no other shop in the city. “There's not enough stars for Rick. This is guy is super cool ,laid back person that I ever met. I took my truck to another shop before I met Rick. I don't want to put anyone or any shop on blast, Gulf Coast automotive on Moffett Rd is GARBAGE.... They kept my truck over an week and a half telling me everything about my truck but not even touching it only but once. Not trying to fix it, just moving it around the parking lot. But Rick had me fix and going in a couple of days.... I will recommend everyone to come to Rick's Garage... And his Mom is Super Nice also ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“I really did have a 5 star experience. Johnny, helped me from recommending me a place to get my transmission, to great hospitality when arriving, to finally giving me service and super quick service! Literally had it fixed in a day. I recommend this place. They are fair with pricing (I saved over $1300 by getting a transmission swap) and great with speed. One down side was that the credit card machine was not working.I refuse to hold that against them, but it was very inconvenient. All in all if you need transmission work, call them!”

Vince, Grant, and Conner are all absolute professionals when it comes to auto repair and customer service. I have had many vehicles repaired by them from simple ac fixes to major mechanical repairs and they have always been fair and honest with me. I would recommend them to anyone for auto service and repair.”

“I wish I could give these guys 10 stars! My daughter just moved to Mobile to attend South. Last night her car died, wouldn't crank, almost weren't able to jump start it. She was told by triple A that it was the alternator as the battery was only 2 years old. Fast forward to this morning, and through the thorough assessment they determined it was in fact the battery that was still under warranty from Advance Auto. These guys took out the bad battery, exchanged it at Advance, and then installed the new one. They could have just gone on the assessment of someone else, changed the alternator, and then found the problem to be with the battery and i would have been out a large sum. Instead they were honest and did their own investigating to find the problem. We will be using them for the next 4 years for anything related to her car. Thank you is not enough!!”

“Sam at Mr Fix It took really good care of my car. My car broke down a couple months ago, and left me stranded hours after I arrived in town visiting. He got my car fixed really quick and with precision. He's a very professional and kind person, definitely the type of person you want to do business with.
