Nail Star in Montevallo is my favorite place to go for a pedicure! Everyone is so friendly, and my toe nails look amazing! Kim is always super nice to everyone that comes in, and Jack takes extra time to take care of my feet. I always do a $35 classic pedicure, and it is worth every penny. Thank you to everyone at Nail Star!

My daughter and I have been going to Nail Star in Montevallo for about 6 months and every visit has been outstanding. By now, each nail tech has done our nails and each experience has been wonderful. I always get a design on my nails and they always look exactly like the photos I show! The staff is always friendly and welcoming. This is our favorite nail salon!

Terrible experience. I understood there was a wait but a woman and her child skipped the line to get their nails done while 4 other guests, including me and my partner, were waiting for 45mims-1hr at this point. After they sat the little girl down before everyone i asked how long she said 10 mins but she wasn’t even started on the little girl and still had a female next to her not started on. I felt disrespected due to my time that was wasted. I could have came back instead of sitting there for 2 hours.

Horrible Experience. Made me wait over a Hour and 30 for a natural polish (which I never recieved). Allowed multiple people to skip me. Will never go here.

I didn't want to leave a bad review. I went here faithfully for years, but my last 2 visits were so bad that I won't be returning. Long story short, I was cut during my pedicure, which he tried to hide by sticking my toe back in the water quickly. It kept hurting and bleeding as he took it out of the water and dabbed it repeatedly. I asked him to stop the service because you can't paint over a bloody toe. They wanted to charge me FULL price for an incomplete pedicure so I asked if a discount could be provided for my service because I had waited 3 hours to be serviced and now my toe was bleeding so badly that my service still wasn't finished. He questioned me and then I was treated very poorly but he finally gave a few dollars off after talking angrily in his native tongue to another tech. I had to worry about how to prevent infection and deal with the pain in my toe for a week, but I still decided to give them a second chance in case it was just a bad day. Nope. I came in and was NOT greeted or spoken to like all the other customers. The tension was so thick you could cut it with a knife. I've never been seated in silence for a nail visit. I had to initiate the conversation after the nail tech began angrily chopping at my nails. I thought she might draw blood. They treated me as though I did something wrong all because I brought to their attention that I was not satisfied with an incomplete pedicure. I WILL NOT BE BACK. They will lose the hundreds of dollars I was paying every month for nails and waxing services. This is not how to conduct good business and keep loyal customers.

My initial wait time was a little long but that was to be understood as the following week school was going back but the quality and cleanliness of service was well worth the wait.
I will definitely take the drive to go back here I love This place
