Most of the items in the store do not have a price tag. And when they do have a price tag.
And you go to check out at the register.It rings up as a different price. Very unorganized

Decided to drop in to the store cause I heard that someone took up the old Fred’s place, because it’s been a while since I’ve been back to my home city of Montevallo.
This store is a mess, worse than some Dollar General I've seen, there was a lot of merchandise with no price tags and stuff was just strode everywhere...
Now I get that last part could be from indecent customers, but having no price tag on your products is a big retail mistake from arrogant management...
secondly the store smelt like someone been smoking there, don’t know if it was from an employee or if it was just old store smell since it clearly seems like they haven’t remodeled since old Fred‘s was there.
Giving it one star did not buy anything, I would just recommend going somewhere else.

A great place to shop and get odd and ends
It s a bargin place to especially on Wednesday senior citizen day no tax be sure and remind cashier at check out

was there 1/25.25 and will be the last time i go in there.
Store was NASTY, male employee taking a personal phone call on the sales floor, merchandise blocking 3 different isles, he saw me looking for a way around, but did nothing but talk on phone, i was there about 20 mins and he was on the phone the whole time. No wonder the store is a disaster.

I absolutely love this store. It’s convenient to my house, nice and courteous employees. And the manager is outstanding. He is always working and very helpful.
