I’ve been going for years and I have always been pleased. My dog had a health emergency and they handled it great. It is on the expensive side but it’s worth it.”

I called around 9am to see if there were any openings to bring my kitty who had gotten into a fight and needed care (stitches). The ladies worked me in and I had an appointment at 9:30. I brought him in and they even let me borrow their cat carrier, as I didn’t have one. I left about 20 minutes after dropping him off, picked him up around 3, and was back home with my fur baby by 4. They were so sweet to my baby and really cared for him and his ailments with patience and love. I would recommend this place to anyone in the Central Alabama area. Thank you for taking care of my baby!!!”
“We have two Miniature Schnauzers, Ava and Tula Belle, plus my grand dog, Chloe, a Cocker Spaniel. We started using Airport Veterinary Hospital in 2017 when Ava was a puppy. Over the past 6 years Dr. Buchanan, aka Dr. Buck, has seen our girls through puppy vaccinations, annual checkups, illness & surgeries. Both he and his staff are so nice and caring that I cannot imagine using anyone else. If you are looking for a new Veterinarian in the Alabaster/Calera area, I highly recommend you give them a call.”
“We had an emergency with our 15 year old Sheltie who was whining badly to relieve herself even though she was weak and had difficulty standing. The owner was nice enough to let us use his grass even though he was getting ready to close the gate. Little did we know at the time but 7 hours later while still driving home she stopped breathing and died. A heartfelt thank you for this small act of kindness”

“I take both of my cats here, and it is the BEST vet I’ve ever been to! The atmosphere is perfect, and the doctor is extremely knowledgeable. My cat had an eye issue, and my previous vet misdiagnosed her. He knew immediately what was wrong and prescribed medicine that healed her eye within 2 weeks. The doctor, along with every staff member, is extremely kind.”
