I can’t get anyone to answer the phone. I’ve been calling for 2 1/2 days and left 4 voice mails and still no response.

Returned a check that they said had already been deposited. That’s because they returned it the first time. Now refused to give me my check back.

The bank manager Sherri assisted me with a complex issue during an incredibly difficult time, and she did it with the upmost compassion and professionalism not often found in the banking business. Thank you Sherri i wont forget how helpful and gracious you were to me

They tried to charge me $8 to cash a check from their institution. That is an absolute joke. That’s why I’m with Max Federal Credit Union.

Overall, a good experience with BB&T. The staff is overworked due to some short staffing, but they're always nice and really go out of their way to do whatever they can for me - no matter how busy they are! I would recommend this branch to anyone happily.

Do not go there to open any business account. The business banker Chris has no clue about what he is doing. He does not even want to make an appointment at 4 pm while he leaves work at 5 pm, as he said it may take longer than an hour to open an account!!!! How efficient that is!!! He also does not have the heart to help a customer. When he comes across situations he does not know or understand, he simply say" I am sorry I cannot do it as I don't want to get into trouble." I went to his office twice to try to open a business account while he gave no help and no correct info. What a waste of time! After making a turn to service trust bank. And they opened my account in 15 minutes like a breeze! So guys, if you want to get anything done in a timely manner, do no go to bbt in Vaughn RD, and definitely do not ask for Chris the business banker to help you! Hope this helps!

Lake Martin Refinance Nightmare BB&T Did a refinance on my lake Martin house with this bank. They had the worst customer service and the entire process was a nightmare. Lennie Ellis, loan officer from Montgomery & Wetumpka did not call me back for over a week causing the rate to increase. Lennie Ellis had tremendous lapses in communication, did not provide critical information to me delaying the process. Lennie Ellis did not manage the loan process, for example she did not notice until the day of closing a critical approval was missing which caused the loan closing to delay. I had traveled 2.5 hours from Atlanta and given up a day of consulting revenue to be at the closing and she called me an hour prior to tell me it wouldn't close because of her error. It took a month to get an appraisal. The "system" they have continued to assign the appraisal to people that would need to travel over 4 hours to do it and they turned it down- each time the bank would raise the price $100 and get another 'far away' appraiser. Of course, the customer has no choice in the matter - I ended up paying $650 for an appraisal that should have cost $450 max and again - delayed the loan for over a month. Lennie Ellis did not tell me until the DAY of the closing that my husband had to attend the closing and sign papers, ( I did not realize this as the loan is in my name only) and therefore, he had his schedule disrupted at the last minute as well. Got to closing table FINALLY, and guess what? The HUD was wrong in two places. Not suprising. Lennie Ellis was in the closing and to top it off, sat there and discussed with the attorney how she'd finally get paid on this loan and that she'd had a great month of revenue - SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL BB&T would not do anything for me related to tanks of gas I spent, lost wages, higher rate, etc. I called supervisors Jimmy Parsons; who never returned calls - kinda like the loan officer. BB&T is not the place for mortgage loans - they are very disorganized and have very negative customer service. Lennie Ellis should not be a loan officer.
