Arrived at this place on 06/22/22 at approximately 3pm for an oil change and tire rotation. Waited 30 minutes before ANYONE attempted to help me because no one was in the lobby. One attendant looked directly at me and went back to playing on his phone. Two people were helped before I was even though I had been there way before them. Customer service is horrible.

Awful, awful, awful, Never go there for anything. They don't care if you have your financing already lined up, they want to run your credit and get what ever kick back money they get for running your credit through those places, even if you tell them numerous times not the run your credit, you leave and they still keep running it!! Every time they run it, that drops your credit score. On top of that, the salesman will get a manager to come over and put more pressure on you. Several in fact. Several managers, pressuring you to let them run your credit and you get the car that day, even if your not ready to buy yet!

Customer beware! This is the worst Chevrolet service department in the country. Dishonest and vandalize their own customers cars. Stay far away from this place!

I will never purchase a vehicle from Capitol Chevrolet or use their service department again unless I absolutely have to. I dealt with Cody last week and found him to be dishonest and unprofessional. He will not return telephone calls and does not follow through on what he tells you. I ended up scheduling my appointment for 10/13/2021 online because no one would call me back. My vehicle was displaying the same warning (a/c turned off due to extremely high engine temperatures) that I took it in for in July; apparently the engine coolant temperature sensor was not the problem. I had to leave my vehicle even though I responded to question on the website that I'd wait for my vehicle. They had no loaner/rental cars and the guy operating the shuttle had left so I had to find my own transportation home. Cody called me on Saturday 10/16/2021 and advised that they'd diagnosed the problem as the thermostat being stuck open and it would cost $460 dollars to repair but with a discount it'd be $413. I called him back and asked if he could find out if Easycare would cover the repair and he said he'd contact them on Monday. I contacted Easycare Monday before leaving work and no one from Capitol Chevrolet had contacted them. I stopped by after work on Wednesday because my phone calls were not being returned and Cody said he'd not called Easycare because they'd want a diagnosis and they were still checking. I reminded him that he'd contacted last Saturday with a diagnosis of the thermostat was stuck open. He called me right before I got off work Thursday, told me my car had been repaired (thermostat) and I could pick it up by 6:00 PM. I paid my $100 deductible and the total bill was $285 but he was going $413 before the warranty. My experience with them in July was no better. It's not like the company is being asked to make these repairs for free. Cody behaves like they're doing customers a favor. They are being paid so the least they can do is return customers phone calls. I've written the company and used their online chat and received no satisfaction.

Preordered a part for my suburban. Parts department said it's ready to pick up. Went to the parts department to pick my part up and no one is there. Stud there for 15 minutes and still no one. Talked to other representatives and helped by trying to get me help. No one ever came. So I end up calling Riverside Chevrolet and with no hesitation, they got the me the part and gave me a better price and a better customer experience!

My wife and I left Columbia, SC today to go visit my brother in Waynesville, MO when the air conditioner in our Colorado went out around 4:00 pm on a Saturday on the east side of Montgomery, AL… it was close to 100.My wife Googled dealership / service centers in the area to see if we could get the problem diagnosed and fixed. The first place we went to said they were only changing oil, rotating tires, and didn’t have a technician on duty and they couldn’t help us till Monday. However, they were very nice and called Luke Echols at Capitol Chevrolet… he said bring it on over.Long story short… Luke and his staff might be the most professional group of people we have met in some time. They fixed our air conditioner and had us back on the road within an hour.We would take our vehicle to Capitol Chevrolet for all its needs and routine service but it’s a five hour drive from our house… our service department in Columbia, SC ain’t even close to the positive experience we had today.I would give 10 stars but fives the limit.

I bought a car July 15. A 2017 Toyota Corolla as is. I test drove it checked the engine and the oil and the tires w witching checked out. They gave me a great deal. However, I drove the car for 5 days within those days it stalled on me twice. I took it into their service shop (WHICH BY THE WAY THOSE ARE THE MOST LAZIEST MECHANICS IVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE.....ESPECIALLY DANNY). So now I've been without a car for almost a week. Mind you I just bought the car two weeks ago and only drove it 5 days. At this point I'be been patient long enough! Idk if I can get a refund but only having the car for 5 days and it gave me problems. I deserve some sort of compensation especially being without a car for a week and not mention my birthday is TOMORROW 7/22 and I'll be without a car!!

These guys are absolute trash. I bought a 2016 CRV from them with only 60K miles. Within two month the car will not even start. Not a battery issue as the display and light will turn on. I called and after being bounced around to multiple departments and calling 10 times I was finally able to reach the sales manager who basically said screw you, you should have bought warranty. Avoid Capitol Chevrolet Mongomery.

Alfonzo is the best! That guy helped us after hours. We were driving cross country and had an issue, he helped us get the vehicle in the secure area of the dealership and assisted us with getting the keys to the service department for an early morning repair to get us back on the road.

I went in this morning with the mindset that I would be in here all day due to in the past I wasn't treated fairly and honestly I was about to take my business elsewhere but Carl the service tech was very friendly and made me feel comfortable so I decided to give it a try and I was only in there for 1hr 30min and I'm very pleased

I took my car there for a repair and they replaced 2 catalytic converters that were supposed to be covered under warranty. But because there was nothing wrong with the catalytic converters and they replaced them anyway they refused to honor the warranty. If your car needs repaired go someplace rep. I called gmc with no relief. I still am out $1700 for parts to my car that were under warranty and there was nothing wrong with them in the first place.
