I had the best banking experience at this branch (Congressman Dickerson) than I've had in a long time. The drive thru teller (Ms. Tonya) noticed something obscure about my account and asked me to come in to discuss. She left her station long enough to completely resolve a matter that I was unaware of and would have cost me money. On top of solving my immediate issue Ms. Tonya gave me good advice regarding finance opportunities for a vehicle I am looking at for my daughter. It was a great experience.

My rating is solely based off my horrible experience with an employee yesterday whom was working the drive-thru at approximately 2:52p.m, since I truly believe who you hire reflects your entire business. Anyway she was completely rude, nasty attitude and disgusting behavior! I’ve banked with guardian for years and never experienced an encounter like the one I had yesterday. I drove up, she didn’t even acknowledge me for like 5 minutes. I mean no speaking, no smiling, just looked as if she was mad at the world. I simply asked for a money order and she told me I had to come in for that process. I explained to her that the previous month I was there, it was processed through the window, wasn’t yelling or didn’t catch an attitude but she definitely didn’t want to hear that and was just nasty about it, which in turn made me nasty with her. She kept rolling her eyes, talking under her breath as she proceeded to process the money order anyway. I was so annoyed, I grabbed it, drove off and didn’t notice until I got home when I checked the receipt that she pulled the money from the wrong account. It was on the slip to withdraw from the savings and she pulled from the checking. I simply transferred the money back over but it’s the principle for me! I won’t go through a drive-thru for a money order again but the way she handled the situation was ridiculous and unprofessional. I couldn’t believe she got hired to work there!

Extremely dissatisfied with Guardian Credit Union at this moment. Went to the downtown location it's closed the only thing that's open at the Drive-Thru is the ATM which does me no good. So I go all the way across town to to the other Branch only to find that they closed at 3:30 due to inclement weather threat. Really?! So they know more than the weatherman now? And had time to make a sign and post it well in advance!? what good does that do for people that are not standing at the front door?? It's only a rainstorm! And barely raining right now at 4 p.m. ran into two other customers at the downtown location trying to get in then after I got across town ran into two more people trying to get in the door there as well lots of people upset with them at the moment. And I'm sure the bank as much safer than driving home

I’ve dealt with all of the branches and the Federal branch is top notch! In a world with customer service being at a minimum the Federal branch is off the charts!

Walked in and stood there for 10 minutes while there was only one person running the teller line but other employees stood around and talked. I asked to have someone just cash my check for me and got told no you’ll have to wait… I’ll never go back to this location because the Eastdale and PRATTVILLE 14 locations are always quick to get the members in and out. Most definitely will not go back.

They have horrible customer service. Every month, it is like pulling teeth to get them to actually take a payment on an auto loan. There is always something. This month, they’re not allowed to speak with me about my husband’s auto loan. We have given written permission several times, not to mention, this isn’t a problem each month. I have spoken to other representatives about the account before. However, this month it was a problem. I know our payment amount, however, the rep would not confirm that the amount I gave was correct. I also asked if we were on a paperless billing cycle with them since we did not receive a statement this month and she refused to answer. When questioned, she stated her department can’t speak to me about the account but other departments can. Seriously?? This is just one of the many reasons I hate making this call every month. We also have to pay $10 for them to take our payment over the phone. We refuse to mail a check because they will “lose it” and we will be charged more fees. We are not close to a branch and can’t make it to a drive thru without being inconvenienced. So, we pay them to take our money each month. Do yourself a favor and use another bank for your auto loan or any other banking needs.

Tried to call the branch off federal to discuss opening a checking account. Waited on hold for at least fifteen minutes. Finally gave up. Then went to the office to open the checking account. ISaw only two people working in the lobby. Teller said it would be 30 to 45 minutes to be able to start the process to get a checking account How about hiring people to answer your phone and helpCustomers. Your branch is seriously understaffed. Anyhow, went to max credit union and was immediately helped.

Been a member since they were in a trailer on national guard headquarters, treated like nothing. A ten day hold on my check to bury my son. I just charged the final expenses on my credit card.
