Horrible experience. I ordered some wood flooring back in January online. It said pick up at the boulevard. I go pick it up, said it wasn’t ready. I Said I can come back later in an hour. Okay I come back, and apparently they didn’t have it in stock!? It was sold out. Lady called the chantilly location to confirm if they had it in stock. They did. They put the money I had payed everything online for on a gift card and sent the info online to the chantilly so I can go there pay for it and pick it up. I go to the chantilly location pay with the gift card and I have to pay an extra 40$ because apparently the wood I got at the boulevard location was in clearance but not at the chantilly location. Okay skip to when the installer is suppose to come today, I had put off work my personal time off for this day. I get a call before he comes the boulevard didn’t give me all the equipment day of the installation. So now they want me to drive back there and pick up the equipment THEY left out. Just….wow.

Was in the store almost 30 minutes and nobody asked if they could help me. Guess I have to go down road to the compition.

Poorly staffed. Waited 10 minutes in the paint area only to be told by two idle employees that no one is working in the paint area and no one knows how to use the paint mixer.

Ordered close to 3000 in materials for one of my jobs in Montgomery,annually i spend about 200,000 at Home Depot alone. and this is how they try to deliver it! Then they shorted me 370 fence boards and when one of their employees shows up with the rest of my boards they were on a trailer and the guy who brought the boards said that Chad who works at the Montgomery store as well instructed him to sit in the truck and let my guys unload everything. Needless to say I will never buy anything from the Eastern blvd store again. Everything I get will come out of the Prattville store

I truly believe that this Home Depot has given up. The store is has trash all over the place. Some isles are not accessible, and have been that way for days due to inventory blocking the way. I asked an employee where I could find chicken wire. Without looking at me, (looking at her phone) she just shrugged her shoulders and said “I don’t know”.

My husband visited this store on today to purchase a sample size paint to do some spot corrections on the wall. He had a picture of the paint name, QR code and product number on his phone which he handed to the paint associate. She made it and gave it to him. He came home and discovered it was the wrong color. Literally a the color was a light gray color instead of a dark brown color. I, his wife, immediately returned to the store and went back to the paint department and a different associate was there. After I explained what happened, he was thorough in researching the color name and brand and the explained how old the paint color was and why another color could have been made in error if not careful. However he took the time to find it (2 minutes) make it then told me to go to the returns area to "exchange" the paint colors. The returns customer agent named Lattice acording to the receipt was very rude from the beginning saying that it was not the same product although it was and that she would have to return the product and I would have to pay for it again. I was confused and asked why and she then appeared more agitated and just picked up the phone and called the paint associate and then said " what do you want me to do with this paint?" then said "that's what I thought". She was extremely rude returned the product and did not even respond when I said "thank you". I got out to my car and called back it in to speak to the manager (Daniel Sansom) about this person and the first time I called no answer and the second time a person answered which I believe was her and asked me why did I need to speak to the manager and I said "it's employee related" she put me on hold and hung up. The next time I called no answer yet again. I am assuming it showed my caller identification and she did not answer this time.
I will never just deal with nasty customer service no matter where I go. It is money that can be spent somewhere else with people who like people especially at a customer service desk. It is definitely not a good idea to put a person like her in this position ever!!! I am a home owner for 25+ years and I have always used Home Depot for all my home and garden needs. I want to continue doing that but by informing your company of anyone who jeopardizes your customers returning.

Drove about 30 miles to Home Depot. Needed to get a pipe threaded. Tedarius helped me. He got on the phone and called Stephanie, who supposedly was the only one there that knew how, but didn't want to do it. So he told me my pipe could not be threaded. How many times has something like this happened to you?

I took my grandson in to look for the best thing needed for his dog. The girl came over and was able to give him the best information on each item. Show him and tell him everything about each different one. She discusses the best one and the good ones and the bad things about each one. She was excellent with a young boy and very knowledgeable to be able to help him.

Everything ya need.... but they don’t know about the customer service policy I guess.
All those ladies at the register are just not gentle at all… is like if you were asking for free stuff, and we are buying thousands of dollars everyday..
that’s why we prefer chantilly or Prattville.
