They broke two expensive pieces of furniture and assured me multiple times that the damage would be taken care of. I spoke with the owner who confirmed that the damage would be addressed. Then, they stopped communicating, finally calling to tell me that they would not fix the damage, instead offering me .$.61 per dollar value of weight, which did not apply and would not be nearly sufficient to fix the damage. Dishonest and unprofessional.

We have moved at least a dozen times in 40 years and none of those inter- or intra-state moves went as smoothly as this. We moved $200K of furniture and high-value items from our 5,000 square foot Lake Martin, AL home to storage while we build a new one.The crew chief (Hilton) was a solid leader and his team stepped up to the task. Always in time...always courteous...always thorough. No attitudes! No loafing! No tardiness! No whining! Just a cohesive team dedicated to superb customer services.The owner/manager (Lister) had his act together from the date of estimate to the delivery of crew and supplies. He didn’t ask for a penny up front and treated us with kit gloves. I highly recommend this company to anyone contemplating a small or large move.Dr. John DiBenedetto

This is the second time we have used McCorquodale transfer. We have used other companies but the communication, professionalism, and attention to detail was above and beyond. Hilton Cawthon was the team leader on both moves. Hilton and his team were punctual and prepared. While moving is stressful , I highly recommend McCorquodale to take that burden

Great movers! I wouldn't think of calling anyone else. These guys really know how to take care of all your belongings from that 200 year old antique from your great, great grandmother to the $20 folding table from Costco! Same great care, same great service!
