Poor communication. If they submit your prescription and your insurance denies it, they do not call or send ANY notification advising. They just let it sit there. No online status update, no email, no call, no NOTHING. Publix grocery store has a good reputation, but this pharmacy is ruining it. I will most likely be going back to Walgreens.

Do not trust these people with your health. Full stop.
Could not be bothered to answer their phone for 3 consecutive days, over a total of 68 calls.
When I was finally able to get though and get my prescription info, I asked to speak to the manager to let them know no one was answering the phones over the week. Her reply was "is there something I can do for you, sir." And it sounded even ruder than it reads.
Then, when I went to pick up my prescriptions 7 hours later they still weren't ready, despite being in-store.

This was once a very nice pharmacy! I tried renewing my prescription online because going into the pharmacy takes such a long time (with long lines and wait time). 3 days had passed and I didn't receive a text stating my prescription were ready. I called (this is an ordeal in itself...never know who/what attitude will answer, IF THEY ANSWER!!!)...after 15 rings, no answer. I hung up called immediately after 10 rings this time, I hung up called the Publix Pharmacy on Vaughn. After 2 rings I got a pleasant voice and courteous service!!! I once loved this pharmacy. It was conveniently near home, but it's not worth the headache. I've moved my prescription to Vaughn Rd Pharmacy. It's a little out of way but I'd rather take a longer trip to get my prescription right and on time.

I’m very disappointed I had to call my doctors office to get them to call in another prescription Because you guys miss placed my prescription. when I got off work to go by and pick it up there was a very long line. After waiting about 15 minutes in line. I picked up four of my prescriptions and The one that they lost was not ready. The cashier asked did I want to wait. I asked how long was the wait the cashier replied until I clear out my line. I told her no I had already waited in line too long. She shoved the bag at me and said Goodbye. Now I still have to pick up the other prescription and the cashier name is Kinita. I think that she was rude and there no reason for her rudeness.

I called the Pharmacy to verify if my prescription was ready. The person who answered my call informed that it was not, but would be available by noon. I told her I was waiting on this prescription and needed it quickly because I was leaving town (for my mother in law's funeral) as soon as it was filled. Her response was "then call someone else" in a completely "I do not care" tone."
What has happened to curtesy. I would give them zero starts if it would let me.

It took over 3 hours to get 3 prescriptions filled. I asked why it took so long and their response was, “we don’t have to answer that question.” Well I will not be using your services again.

Worst pharmacy experience. Father had oral surgery and needed prescription filled ASAP, with one of the medications to be taken immediately. With absolutely no sense of urgency, it took nearly 3 hours to get the prescriptions filled. When asked why it took so long, the front counter woman responded “we can’t tell you that”. Do your job????? Do NOT send your prescriptions here.

A lot of frustration, over an extensive period, has led me to post this review. I've used this pharmacy for nearly 8 years now, and I never had any problems until the last 6 months or so. As others have observed, the lines are often long, wrapping around a display or two. You can easily wait 20 minutes in line, and even when you get to the counter, the prescription might not be ready, even though you got an automated call saying it was, leaving you to either meander through the store for another 30-60 minutes or to make another trip back later. There have been times I've had prescriptions there where I didn't get a call at all, and then after days of waiting, once I was finally able to speak to someone in the pharmacy (no small effort there either), they'd tell me something was wrong with the prescription and that they wouldn't fill it until I got my doctor to write a new one--that's the kind of thing they should really call someone about. On that occasion, I ran out of my prescription, and it took me nearly a week to sort out because of the confusion (including another copay to revisit my physician). And then there's simply the pedestrian attitude the workers there take in their approach to customer service. Despite the long lines, no one seems too concerned about moving them. Despite having five or so people working, only person will generally ever man a register. Customers become visibly (and audibly) agitated as they wait in line and frequently give up in defeat to walk away and try again another day. Again, none of this appears to register with their employees. All in all, I've given this pharmacy a lot of chances to revert back to a level of service I once enjoyed, but I simply cannot continue to use it to fill my prescriptions.

The absolute worse pharmacy in America! Terrible customer service, along with terrible waiting line at all times a day. They have no drop off window, only one employee to work the counter while 3 pluses the pharmacy tech sits at computers. Just FYI: if you go to zelda rd pharmacy expect to wait 30 plus minutes to drop off or pick up, that's if no old customer sits at the counter talking and begging for a discount

I wish I could do ZERO stars. Publix has been my pharmacy for years up until today! EVERY SINGLE TIME since my youngest daughter has been born & needs a prescription. It will be called in early morning & I will strategically wait until the evening time to ensure that it’s ready when I pick up because it’s ALWAYS a long line. When I finally make it to the front of the line, literally the prescription is never ready & I get told another quoted time to wait. I have complained to a manager but who knows if that person even works in the pharmacy anymore because it’s always a brand new staff. Turnover rate being high doesn’t surprise me with the service I’ve received in the past year. I will be having all of my prescriptions transferred !!!!! THIS PHARMACY HAS NO SENSE OF URGENCY WHATSOEVER.

Frustrating experience. I have had prescriptions here for a couple of years. Trying to get my son's transferred over and we're on trip #3. Long lines yesterday there were 7 employees behind the counter of pharmacy- one cashier and 9 customers in line. They finally opened second register. On my son's scripts the excuse now is that they did not give them all yesterday because pharmacist must review for interaction. When he called today- they said they got " lost in the system".I appreciate protocols- but he has a doctor and just needs his medications. This is day 4- tomorrow will be day 5 for 3 scripts.

Publix has become the leading name in the supermarket field here in the southeast. Once you experience a Publix supermarket yourself, I am confident that you will understand how Publix has become such an iconic supermarket brand and has developed such a loyal customer base down here in the southeast. This particular location is in a shopping plaza and I cannot see parking being an issue. The location has an overall pleasant ambiance that makes shopping all the more enjoyable. Publix has created a solid reputation by offering incredible customer service, great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals, and we cannot forget their subs, which are affectionately known as "Pub Subs." Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way, it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. It is great to see Publix expanding beyond the boundaries of their home state of Florida and spreading throughout the southeast. Not only am I happy about it, but I am confident that the communities where Publix opens a location are very grateful for a Publix opening by them. I would definitely recommend this particular Publix location or any Publix location for that matter and I give it five stars.
