I absolutely detest Regions bank. I deposited my payroll check into my account and was told that I could get $225 the next day and the balance would be available in a couple of days after that. After I deposited the check, the next day I was sent a email saying that I wouldn't have access to my money for another week+. I called and tried to find out why it was changed and to explain that having to wait would leave me without ANY MONEY. They couldn't explain why I had to wait and they didn't care that all the money I had was in their bank. I have never had this experience with any bank before. I don't even have money for gas to get back and forth to work!! I had my direct deposit set up to go to Regions and was just waiting for it to start, but now I'm going to have it changed. I don't want to deal with a bank that doesn't care about me or my situation. I don't have access to my money but Regions can and is collecting interest on it!! Max credit Union or Guardian C.U. would have never left me in a situation like this. As soon as my check clears, I will be closing my account and going back to a credit union!!!

If I could give it a lower rate I would! Idiots are running this branch! Plenty of money in checking…opened a savings account substantial deposit! Found out on Friday both accounts were frozen! No one could explain why! Had no access to funds for 4 days! Finally I was given checks for both accounts! Regions is in big trouble! Staff have no knowledge or ability to solve problems… obviously just hired to fill a quota??? Not trained! Would never recommend Regions! Wow! How far down they have gone.. sad!

I recently moved into the Montgomery area... I had a very good relationship with many of the people who worked at Regions in Jackson, Alabama... I am so glad that I am finding the same type of working relationship with the people here in Montgomery... the success of my business ventures depend upon it.. I usually enter my banking institutions to meet the people and getting to know them personally.... I want them to know me and I know them... the people handling my money (smile)

I want to thank the unprofessional, inconsiderate loan officer, (White Male) in the first office to the left as you walk through the front door of the bank. This unprofessional, inconsiderate being, made me wait for no reason, to open a checking account, there wasn't anyone before me to be seen. I left, opened a checking account elsewhere, depositing a significant amount of money elsewhere.

Vegas trip cancelled in March due to COVID-19.VIP reservation company promised a refund in writing multiple times.VIP company lied to us about needing to wait for the hotel clubs to refund them claiming they sent them our funds.We verified with the hotels that they never received payments for our reservations. We have this in writing.No refund provided.VIP company numbers disconnected and stopped responding to texts.All parties initiated disputes with their banks to recover the funds for services not provided.All parties filed the disputes with the same supporting documentation.All other parties (excluding me) received final REFUNDS from their banks.Regions Bank declined my dispute TWICE, even though I provided the same documentation as the rest of them.Regions Bank still has no record of my additional documentation even though I have given it to them TWICE.They won't add my supporting documentation to the case or even consider it.They won't fight for my case.They won't refile for refund not received.They won't let me speak to a manager.My local branch is closed due to COVID-19.I can't get an appointment until the middle of July.Regions Bank is debiting my account on 7/4. I lost $1,800 during a pandemic and Regions Bank won't fight for me.I am closing my account.Regions Bank won't fight for you even though every other bank will.Don't bank with Regions Bank - WORST BANK EVER!!!I'm filing a complaint with the Alabama State Banking Department.

They provide decent customer service but I wish they wouldn't be so busy with the drive thru all the time. Also the ATM stays down at least 2-3x a WK when I use to live around the corner.

This branch is where I opened up my account at, Jessica was very nice and extremely helpful . Gave me a lot of insight information that regions bank offers. Very professional and courteous.

First note: I use the eastdale circle location and we love the young lady tellers and Derald Shepherd. They're always friendly. I see them resolve issues with other guests who seem not so easily handled. Most of the time, I get someone that knows me, my story, and my family even though I go in probably only a handful of times a year. Derald is a loan officer, highly knowledgeable, kind, and skilled at doing what he does in such a way that he helps both the bank and the guest. He told me options I didn't realize I had. I wish I'd listened and fully understood some of it sooner lol. We love our regions. I don't know about these other complaints. Sounds terrible and I'm sure they happened; the stories seem too thorough for some kind of thing not to have happened. But my Regions at eastdale circle is amazing. And I really appreciate how they help me by going the extra mile when I need just a little extra help now and then. They never act inconvenienced, even if it's a long line. I love these ladies and Derald Shepherd.

Ambiance in this bank is not the same. Needs to step up to ensure a more professional atmosphere returns. Has a new manager however, he/she is never there to assist the customers???? Not good! I am totally out with Regions business practices. I opened a Regions no interest for 12 months credit card last year in March 2017, with a $5,000 credit line. I planned on paying it in full before the interest began incurring. When I checked in February 2018 I was told that I had until May statement to pay it in full without interest. So, I kept the money I had and waited but in May the interest had incurred. In the end the amount I needed to pay it out and close it was more than the statement said and no one there was able to tell me why. I am totally finished with Regions messing over my money on more than one occasion!!!!
