Worst experience and customer service I have had in a while. First off my wife went in for an appointment the windshield that was ordered was scratched. We were informed 1hr after we left that they would have to reschedule for another week out to get a new windshield in and installed due to the new window being scratched. Finally got the window installed after waiting a week and now 1 day after install the whole seal around the left side of her window on her Lexus is coming up. This has been a headache and very unpleasant experience. Sterling a technician there was very helpful and nice but that’s it. The manager doesn’t come from his back office to address customer concerns. Very disappointed with the customer service and workmanship of this place considering their brand reputation.

I haven't made it to my appointment time yet but am already receiving poor customer service. After making the appointment online, I called to ask if I could leave my vehicle overnight the day before and drop the keys to ensure I wouldn't run the risk of being late for my appointment day/time - 1/15 - due to another stop I need to make before that. I called on 1/13 after making the appointment and was assured that I could do so and could drop my keys in the box outside. I even visited Safelite's website and watched the video for Drop And Go Service that shows an individual dropping off their keys in a box. So I made the extra trip to town to drop off my vehicle on 1/14 only to find that there is no box or any other means to drop off the keys for my vehicle and leave it overnight. It was a complete waste of my time (and gasoline) and could have been avoided had Safelite's website *and* a Safelight employee not given me incorrect/false information. I have very little faith in this process going forward. Update: With 90 minutes left in the business day and without receiving any updates, which multiple texts from Safelite said I would receive, I used Safelite's website to attempt to get an update. They only said my vehicle was in the "scheduled status," which according to the customer service representative, meant that they hadn't even started working on it. The rep gave me a phone number, which she claimed was the number for the shop where the work was being done, and that's the only way I'd find out the status. I called that number only for it to be someone clearly working from home since I kept hear her television blaring and her baby crying in the background. She claimed they would get the work done today but still gave no ETA and I still haven't heard from anyone at the shop. Why tell customers you're going to give them updates on the status of their vehicle if you're not going to? And why are you making it so difficult and a time-consuming chore to speak with someone who actually knows what's going on? I'd appreciate a direct answer, not something unrelated about visiting your website. Your website has already been shown itself to be of no real help in this situation.

Due to a crack in my windshield, I had to have the whole thing replaced. Safelite did an excellent job. I have used them before and till this day, I would always recommend Safelite for windshield repairs.

Appointment was easy to make, but I cancelled it because the customer service was awful and Auto Glass Now was over $400 cheaper. I'm not gonna trust my car and keys with someone who can't even fake being nice over the phone. The woman who called me to confirm my appointment had an attitude from the start and didn't introduce themselves or anything until prompted. I asked if she knew what time I should be available to pick it up, she said "well the expectation for you is to pick it up at the end of the day, at 5." First off, your expectation of me? Second, I was scheduled to drop it off at 9:30am and they close at 5pm. So, I asked "what time should I be there by, then? you guys are closed at 5." Her reply was "The expectation is the end of the day". "Ok, so how am I gonna get my car if no ones there" " They'll CALL you when it's DONE. It might be earlier then 5, it might be later". Alright bet, decision was made at that point. As soon as I got off the phone with her I started shopping around again. I'm not gonna be on stand-by all day for an overpriced windshield and rude customer service. I cancelled the appointment.
