Misleading and dishonest. I had an appointment to receive assistance with a utility bill that was due for disconnection, I made an appointment with this agency and was told they'd be able to assist me. I was then told last minute that they are only assisting individuals with up to $150.00, and wouldn't pay anything towards a balance unless I paid the difference first. I am a disabled adult. I receive disability and survivors benefits. My one month bill was 794.00 my income is 997.00 this bill is over 3/4 of my total income. The young woman that assisted me had a condescending attitude when I asked why didnt they inform me that they couldn't assist me with my balance. If they know that funds are limited and that they are only helping up to a certain amount, why not inform people? This whole day has been a waste of resources and time. If you need help, look elsewhere, don't even bother with here. My first and last time ever attempting to get help from them. Utter garbage.
