no one was at the desk when i got there. waited 10 minutes and eventually called them and then they finally came to bring my “book” which was actually just an access code for an online book. drove 2 hours for that ?

Books are rarely available when the term starts no matter how far in advance you order them. Received an email to pick up my book at 3:06pm the bookstore closed at 2:00pm prior to the email being received/sent. I have homework due this weekend and the books were ordered 10 days prior to the start of the term. Unacceptable!!!

I have been there several times and always had good service. Emily and Maria in cafe always make great drinks. I was looking for a book for my son and Yaderi helped me find the entire series they had in stock. Most recently, I visited the store and just got a drink and took a break from riding my motorcycle and Aaliyah was constantly busy and cleaning. They have a great staff even when they are busy they take care of you. If you happen to be in the area it is a great spot to stop even if you aren't a student.

Worse college bookstore. Troy needs to hire new employees. People who want to represent Troy. They steal and lie. They have charged my account for books that were returned 12-16-22. Everytime I call....no one can seem to answer the phone. I sent emails explaining the returns alone with the UPS receipt I received when I mailed the books.

The absolute worst customer service EVER! I live in Montgomery and I would rather drive miles out to the bookstore in Troy to get my books. This store needs a whole new staff. Some of the employees are just rude! I love the students that come in during the summer to work because at least they are pleasant and helpful. Upon walking in they are so consumed with their mobile devices until they don't have time to acknowledge you. I walked in through the coffee shop to the bookstore area, the employee watched me go to the counter while she sat at the table on her phone and did not move or even acknowledge that I was even there. Oh and you can forget it if you are a online student they never want to look and see if they have your book in store or not. I went to pick up my books for the new term and was told that they weren't doing books for the new term yet. But why was I allowed to order them online and received confirmation that I can pick them up in the store. It has been two weeks ma'am. I will get them shipped to my home next time. Please hire people that want to assist the students for real. Customer service is not that hard.

They told me my order was already picked up, then said my order doesn’t exist. After that the front counter worker just kind of walked away and said she forgot about me. They ended up giving me the wrong book from a completely different time period. It’s bad enough the college doesn’t offer shipping (I had to drive two hours to get the book). I’m still working to get my online rentals since there is no information on how to obtain them from the order emails.
