Dunno if this is where my now 5 day late package is sitting it just says arrived in Montgomery Alabama. But if it is you people are the absolute worst on the face of this entire earth. I hope you get shut down. A 5 year old child can do a better job than you people. Don't bother paying for Priority Shipping they dang sure don't treat anything like a Priority you're better off with any delivery service but USPS.

Let me start by saying this isn’t a criticism of the employees themselves they’re human, just like the rest of us, and they’re doing the best they can under what seems to be tough circumstances. For the most part, the staff here are engaging, helpful, and committed to doing their jobs. I truly appreciate them for showing up and doing what they can.
That said, the overall operation of this post office leaves a lot to be desired. The line is always out the door, and it seems like there’s never enough staff to manage the workload. Most of the time, only one register is open out of four and it really makes you question why more resources aren't being allocated. If only one station is going to be open, what’s the point of having four?
I’m not placing blame on the people working this feels more like a staffing or management issue that’s been going on for a while now. I’m grateful for those who show up and try to keep things moving, but it’s become a consistent struggle just to get basic services done.

I can’t believe I walked in a US postal office to get a money order and walked out with no money or order just I’m sorry sir this has happened 5 days later nothing still hasn’t been resolved

Almost didn't believe all the bad reviews regarding passports. Now I do, I also showed up for passport application on Saturday since the website said they were available but turned out to not be true. Made an appointment for the following Monday at 3:45 and was notified to show up from 3:45-4 in email. Showed up around 3:55 since I have a job and can't show any other time. After waiting in line and getting to the counter it was 4:02 and was told to reschedule. Pretty raggedy place, you're better off either driving another 45 minutes somewhere else or doing it at a courthouse. Unless you're unemployed and or made of patience and time, better go somewhere else.

Started my new job that sent my check in the mail to Montgomery which I urgently need and it's been six days and nothing, they're all too lazy to even pick up the phone, pathetic.

I made a passport appointment here but received a phone call the morning of stating that there would be no employees in that day who could do passports and I would need to reschedule. The woman who called sounded like she was reading off a notecard and leaving a voicemail, as if she didn’t know or care that there was a human on the other end of the line. There was also no apology for the fact that I scheduled my day around this appointment that is now canceled at the last minute. I was willing to chalk it up to a one-off, maybe someone called in sick, etc., but looking at the reviews it seems passports are a common problem so I decided to add my experience to the mix.

This is one of the most unorganized, nasty, and unhelpful USPS establishments in the area. They never have products for shipping available. Attitudes are immeasurably the worst in customer service.

Whenever I see my package has to come through this facility I immediately feel like I'll never see it. More than half have been lost at this facility. It's worse odds than flipping a coin. The people that work here are terrible at their job. Montgomery, you have to be better.

Horrible Employees!!!!!
Came in yesterday with an appointment for passport. Stood in line, was told to sit, called back over and asked if we had an appointment, yes, we actually told you that 15 minutes ago but didn't say it. We could hear the employees behind the line saying I don't feel like messing with passport today. The all had an attitude the minute customers walked in. We had a man named Jeremy, totally not in the right role. He does not need to be in a customer facing position. He made it VERY clear he didn't want to help us and didn't even want to be there. Someone really needs to talk with him about how he treats customers. Coming from a family with a long line of postal employees and retired Postmasters they would be embarrassed. Just thought this needed to be passed along, I called back and asked to speak to the Postmaster yesterday, I was told they are unavailable.

My friend shipped my package Feb 24th to this facility. My track number is EI383312347US. My package after several days at the Montgomery AL Distribution is STILL there. It was scheduled to be delivered at my place by Thursday, February 27th. I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE MY PACKAGE. This is horrible service. Paid $33 to have it shipped express. This is suppose to be a FEDERAL FACILITY. Where is my package??
I am so frustrated by this. USPS IS HORRIBLE! I am done.

If you're planning to renew your US Passport and considering booking an appointment here, I’d suggest you don’t waste your time. They provide late appointments, and the USPS staff is often unhelpful. Instead, try walking into the Montgomery County Courthouse (251 S Lawrence St, Montgomery, AL 36104). They accept passport applications quickly, usually with no lines. At USPS, even with an appointment, I had to wait almost an hour last time.
