Dr. Carter has been taking care of our dogs, cats, and horses for over 15 years. His extensive experience and dedication are evident in the exceptional care he provides. He truly takes the time to answer all of our questions, no matter how many we have... and I always have alot! He explains everything in a way that's easy to understand, ensuring we feel confident in the care our pets are receiving. It's clear that he genuinely cares about the well-being of our furry family members.
During our visits, Dr. Carter never rushes through appointments. He takes the time to thoroughly examine our pets and discuss any concerns we might have. His dedication and attention to detail are truly commendable.
In addition to veterinary care, Snowdoun Veterinary Hospital also offers excellent boarding services for our cats and dogs. We always feel at ease knowing our pets are in good hands when we have to be away.

“The vet technicians working the front desk and phones are EXTREMELY nice and very helpful. I cannot attest to the quality of medical services provided here because I only boarded my doggo. They require a physical examination by their veterinarian and proof of all vaccinations, heartworm and flea prevention, prior to boarding (they will do it there the day of if needed. We had to get a canine flu vaccine before we could board. We boarded Tootie in the "deluxe suite" which is a small room with a tv and extra play time, rather than a tiny kennel/cage. He didn't seem traumatized when we picked him up which was great! Their prices for boarding aren't bad either. $24.20 for basic boarding. $30 for deluxe boarding. I think there's also a $10-$15 fee in there somewhere too. No drop off on Sunday. Pick up Sundays 4:30p-5p only. Drop off Saturday from 7:30a-12p. Pickup during normal business hours during the week. We will definitely be using this establishment during our stay in Montgomery! Great service!”

Both the tech & the receptionist went above & beyond and helped carry the kitties to my car. I love the Saturday & Sunday hours - a real plus for those who work during the week. I highly recommend.”

“My boyfriend and I moved here recently and were really nervous about which vet to take our fur-children to. We found the Cat Clinic of Montgomery and we took our kitten and our adult cat to them. They were very friendly, and the booking of the appointment was super easy, and service was quick. The only thing I want to mention is that they do not let you back when they are taking care of the animal. You have to wait in the waiting room, they do their thing, and then they call you back to discuss everything. We then took our kitten back for a neuter and it's been about 3 weeks since he had the surgery. Recovery was easy and he was back to normal pretty much as soon as we got him home. Both of my cats are happy and healthy. I recommend this place!”

“My 5-year old cat Murray became very ill and Dr Graydon referred me to Carriage Hills where, after months of testing and evaluation (including, at my request, a totally worthless appointment at Auburn), the fantastic Dr Van Hooser was able to diagnose and determine successful treatment. Dr Graydon spent hours on the phone with me and with Dr Van Hooser, following everything about Murray's treatment. She cared about him and took the time to comfort me and be by my side through all those terrible months. She has cared for my two cats since they were 10-days old. They are my world and I am so grateful to have her.”

“I wish I could give more than 5 stars to this office because they truly deserve it! Our pup was quite literally on his death bed on Friday! We were referred to them by our local vet and it could not have been a better referral. We drove an hour and a half to their facility and we were met with nothing but love and support and their extensive knowledge. Our pup Shadow stayed from Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon with them. He was nursed back to health by all the amazing staff at this animal hospital. The staff is very knowledgeable despite our dog being a slight mystery case! They were constantly communicating with us and giving us updates! Our pup who normally doesn't love the vet was given so much love and attention that by the time we were ready to leave, he seemed like he wanted to stay! The whole staff at this office is so incredible and we are forever grateful for their support! Everyone with a pet needs a vet like this in their life! We will definitely be back! Shadow's new favorite place!”

I continue using them because I trust their care. Front desk is always friendly and doesn't rush. Going back is the same way. They get to us quickly every time and they always listen to our concerns and explain to us in detail if we don't understand anything right away. They help keep cost down (vets are expensive anywhere unfortunately) but I really feel they are reasonable compared to others.
Our poor Crusty (got that name honestly 😆 ) has had to visit twice unfortunately but I'm happy knowing his care will always be their top priority. Thank you vets and staff for taking care of out little Crustball and helping us make him well.
And a bonus ⭐ for Blimpy whos silly way of sitting really helped make our day better. Such a cutie 🥰 🐾”

“Overall effecient and professional. This office helped us with a pet that passed unexpectedly as well as on boarding a new pet later in the same year. With the sick cat they were thorough and their pricing for the handling of all that was very competitive. With the new pet they correctly identified and treated his shelter cold (uri and eye crusties) on the first try and had it knocked out in a couple weeks with minimum time and money spent. So overall very pleased. The only minor nitpick gripe I would have is that you don't always see the same people which can seem impersonal. But that being said the care and service were still very good. Call ahead and see if they are busy first before you walk in and you can reduce your waiting time tremendously. Never waited more than 10 minutes.”
