“Managed to get in the door to buy a few things before close but I didn't realize it had gone past closing time. The staff could have been friendlier as I stopped briefly to respectfully interact with the staff but no someone was holding the door wide, silent, giving me a death stare.
Is that what "showing someone the door" means because I've seen friendlier door-stops. And I though introductions to a means to enter of exit isn't usually so subtle lol.

“Kinda weird having two stores combined, but I guess it works! It's in a great spot too, the people in housing can walk to it. A lot of them don't have cars, so it's helpful.
Employees are always nice and helpful.

“One single girl in there and she was running the whole place and I didn't like that she was there by herself.
I did not like that she was in there by herself that's not very safe that's not very good and that's not very businesslike for y'all to do a girl like that
I understand your short staffed, then you should have had a guy in there running it. Not that a girl can't but it's not very safe in this day and age. And if your short-staffed you shouldn't be open in the first place”
“I haven't been to this location in over a year so I was pleased to see that this location had been remodeled. Looks good too! Neat and we'll organized overall. Friendly staff and fast service. Stock was a little limited but supply and demand is an issue we all are dealing with. Thankfully what I needed was in stock so I was happy!”

“I'm giving 5 stars for the female cashier, not the store. She was swamped with people in a very long line from the register wrapped around going down the aisle. She wasn't upset nor frowning. I commend her.”
“I go to these dollar general almost daily sometimes more then once a day when trying to skip a Walmart trip I usually always find what I need the staff is friendly and usually knows me by name I usually get right in and right out.”

“I gave this a 4 ⭐rather than 5 because there seems to be an enormous amount of stock waiting to be put out & boxes are EVERYWHERE! The staff is AMAZING! They are the nicest of any of the Dollar General Stores locally around in my opinion. I just hope they get the couple of employees there some help soon! I WILL continue to patron this location as I feel like it deserves it! It's a clean Store, striving for excellence with need of more employees!! “Enjoy shopping at DG The employees are nice. They usually don’t have time to help you, but I understand that there are only two employees there normally. That’s the only problem I have a Dollar General is they need to hire more employees. No they’re making a lot of money, but they usually only have two employees and there are carts everywhere with merchandise on them. You can’t go around them to see what’s behind them and it’s hard on the employees because people get mad at them when it’s not their fault. I really do like the employees and shopping there.”
“Employees are pretty friendly most of the time. Out of a lot of items. Prices keep changing and are higher when you checkout than what is tagged on the shelf. That is a huge problem that needs to be handled immediately. Whatever the tag says should be the price. Handicap accessible entrance.”
“Family dollar was great I got in and out I always have to have a conversation with the ladies we laugh and talk about their families and what we're doing the week end. I told them my birthday is Monday I got a lot of greeting in case they didn't see me. I Love them all great place to visit.”

“Another First time for me in the Forestdale Dollar General on Hwy 78. The store was clean and shelves could have been better stocked. I did notice that the aisles weren't blocked with merchandise or junk in general. Employees were nice and friendly. I had a great young man that helped me with my check out. He was able to explain to me about my Healthy Benefits Card usage at Dollar General. I am glad I stopped by this Dollar General in Forestdale. Thanks again!”
