ATROCIOUS, APPALLING, REPULSIVE, RUDE, ARGUMENTATIVE, UNPROFESSIONAL, are just a few words I can use to describe the girl running the pharmacy drive thru window tonight (June 06, 2024)
I have never IN MY LIFE encountered someone so miserable. After witnessing her arguing with literally every single customer that came through the other line (that she kept helping before me because she kept cutting me off mid sentence) she tells me she can’t find the insurance policy. I politely tell her ok no problem we have the card on the phone and she said ok and immediately went to the next customer in line instead of giving me a second to pull my card up. When she came back to me I read her off the information needed and she said “oh, we do have that on file for you” and could I have just left it alone ? Yes, but I’m already irritated at the situation as is, and after the way she was to the lady before me, I simply said.. I thought you said you didn’t have it on file? And she immediately got aggressive and loud and arrogant and argumentative all in a split second. And so I told her, I’m not trying to argue with you I just need my medication. She kept on instigating the situation as I looked down at my phone waiting. She then comes back on the speaker to tell me the price and I put my card in the box and just so happened to remember a resource that I would have given anything to know sooner that I used to utilize working in a pharmacy years ago, so I said “hey by the way, if you ever come across this in the future you can do this.. and proceeded to tell her and she VICIOUSLY interrupted me yelling to the top of her lungs that I can come inside to get my prescription and go somewhere else. So I pulled around and went inside and stood there for a few minutes while she stood there with her back to me ignoring me, I finally said “I need that prescription” and someone from the back YELLED do you want MEDICINE or the PAPER. At this point, there is NO WAY in hell I’m giving them my money. I simply told them the paper please. A sweet guy came and handed me the paper and the manager was behind me telling me to get out of the store. I looked at the girl and said “if you would let someone finish their sentence, instead of arguing about anything you can, you would know I was just trying to be nice.” And she yelled “no you weren’t and you don’t need to tell me how to do MY JOB”
It was very obvious to me and the poor customers in line next to me, and i can almost guarantee anyone that has met this lady, she is a miserable person with a chip on her shoulder about something that CANNOT listen because she is too busy talking over you and speaking to you as if you are a child.
The pharmacy is not the career for a person like that.
*also, I work at a primary care clinic in the shoals and I will personally make it my mission to ensure NONE of my patients ever have to go through what I went through just to get their medication.

I know it can be frustrating to wait in line, however I find the people that work here to be extra nice and helpful. I really blame some customers who pull to the window and expect to sit there while the script is filled. Instead of calling ahead or using the app. I know there are extenuating circumstances sometimes, but a lot of times not. Just go inside.

There isn't a worse pharmacy. It's always something with this place, literally every time. Do yourself a favor and skip their high prices and abhorrent service.

Everyone is always so kind (pharmacy, photos, main checkout, etc.) and willing to work with me when something isn't right/I can't find something. My go-to Walgreens!

Best Walgreens I've had the pleasure of shopping at for my needs. The manager is the hardest worker/employee I've ever seen when it comes to any management position. The employees are welcoming, helpful and attentive to your needs. The store is ALWAYS nice, and clean. AND yes, just like several drugstores... they're doing the best they can. I HIGHLY recommend, and prefer this Walgreens over the other Walgreen stores.

Walgreens pharmacy were dishonest with my wife, costing us a good amount of money. They went on to lie about it over the phone. She picked up her prescription and was charged an insane amount for it. I have the same prescription and get it for $15 with a coupon at a locally owned pharmacy. I called Walgreens and asked why they didn't use a coupon for my wife's prescription. I'll go over the lies they told me below:The lady who answered said they could not use a coupon in conjunction with insurance. This is a lie, as I do this all the time at my pharmacy. She told me that if she used a coupon instead of insurance the price would be about the same as what they charged my wife. This is a lie, as I have filled the same prescription with a coupon and no insurance for about $20.And finally, it should be noted that I have filled the exact same prescription at the very same Walgreens with a coupon in the past for $20-$25.Now granted, it's not a guarantee that I was lied to over the phone. The other option would be that the lady who answered was a moron who knew nothing about her job. Either way, if you use Walgreens pharmacy your prescription will be handled by a team of liars and morons who will make zero effort to help you in reducing the price.Go to a locally owned pharmacy. They actually care about you. Walgreens does not.

My prescriptions got sent here when Milner Rushing closed without my knowledge or.consent. I decided to.just let it be.since it aas already done and nothing I could do about it anyway. I got my prescriptions filled twice before I was looking for a new pharmacy. This is why I choose smaller family pharmacie. So impersonal. The employees barely make eye contact if at all. You are just a number to them. They don't care one way or another if you are a customer or not. I don't like. way I was treated. Almost like an inconvenience

This pharmacy is consistently overwhelmed at this location. Usually not a very friendly experience. Understood the nearby location was closed for apparent financial reasons. Wait times are unacceptable and drive through lines are now consistently around the building. It has been months and not addressed with more staff. Recommend you find a better location as management is unable to make appropriate improvements.

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever had. They should close this location and reopen Sheffield at least they had a working knowledge. I along many others will be transferring my prescriptions to Publix
