“Leaving bad reviews for a business is not my style and I usually cringe at people who leave them, but the experience here impacted the health and safety of a beloved dog family member.
Putting 5 stars just so it doesn’t affect their rating, but here’s the honest review :
The communication between techs/pharmacists and to the people they’re serving was very lacking as far as my experience went over two days, two visits, and 4 phone calls.
My pet had an urgent need for the medicine he was prescribed and there was a delay, which was understandable. But after that delay, I called to see if I needed to make other arrangements to get him his needed medicine and a pharmacist or tech told me directly that they DID have the medication and they would fill within hours. I depended on that information being true.
It wasn’t true and I wasn’t notified.
If they had given the correct information, I could have and would have made other arrangements for his care or had the medicine transferred to another pharmacy during normal vet and pharmacy hours.
Some of the staff is friendly and helpful, but if you’re depending on clear communication about availability and fill times, I recommend building a customer relationship with a locally owned pharmacy instead because there is a drastic difference.
The misinformation given by this pharmacy turned a $40 medication refill into an expensive and stressful after hours emergency vet visit that wouldn’t have been necessary otherwise”
“Went in to stock my freezer and was amazed by what they had in stock!! Couldnt be upset about the prices either because they were fair. Overall, the price I paid for everything I bought, Im happy and will be returning!”
“They have a big selection of Hispanic food products. Their meat selection was fresh and tasty. I am from Los Angeles so I am familiar. Definitely will be back when visiting my son at University of Alabama.”

“Friendly folks. Fresh meats and items we can't find at other stores. Cottondale is where we usually go. Love the frozen fried steak cuts and the TNTs on a flat top grill !”
“Carnitas tacos are truly good… but honestly, they did not treat us very well… sad cause we are Mexican, and we were happy to finally find decent tacos… probably if you are American, they will treat you well…”

“Like many Publix, this one is clean and everything is organized. I love going here because everyone is friendly, the checkout lines are always quick and produce is always fresh. To me it's worth paying a little extra for good service and friendly faces.”
