Based on the mixed reviews for this Hertz location, I wisely arranged a backup rental with another company before arriving. Fortunately, my reserved vehicle was ready and available, allowing me to complete the pickup process in under five minutes.
**Recommendation for Future Renters**
Rather than trusting your reservation is available or calling ahead to confirm availability (which may not guarantee anything), I’d suggest booking a secondary reservation with a competing provider like Enterprise as insurance. Since Hertz also operates Thrifty and Dollar, choosing a truly independent alternative gives you better coverage. Given that you only pay upon pickup and can cancel reservations without penalty, there’s no financial risk in maintaining multiple bookings until you secure your vehicle.
This approach saved me potential frustration and ensures you’ll have transportation regardless of what you encounter at your primary location.”
