During one of the worst periods of my life the folks at HomeMed stepped up on a Sunday (when they aren't even open) and worked overtime to help fulfill the wishes of our terminal family member. What they did for us is beyond a good review, it is a debt I hope one day to be able to pay.

The person in charge of billing was unable to provide a sufficient receipt which included medical billing codes and description of the portion I paid so that I may get reimbursed. The supervisor was condescending, rude, and kept interrupting when I tried to explain what and why I needed it.The equipment is satisfactory. With the exception of the supervisor the staff was friendly. The only other issue I had was a member of the staff asking me repeatedly from across the room to spell my name and verify my date of birth. I felt uncomfortable sharing that since other customers were able to hear my personal information.In the future I would drive to Montgomery or Columbus to get medical equipment rather than go back here again. Overall lacks professionalism.

I used to get my CPAP supplies from East AL HomeMed. For about the first year, they were great! It went straight to hell from there! They changed my headgear & mask to a unisex type setup rather than the Resmed For Her that I need. Michelle in the CPAP department is a RUDE WITCH! She will argue with you regarding which supplies and how often YOUR insurance will cover them even if YOU KNOW what your insurance will pay for - she thinks that she knows all! She doesn't- my insurance paid for the supply that she told me I could only get every 6 months! My insurance has always paid for supplies every three months. I called about 6 weeks ago to reorder supplies and was informed by Michelle that she would call me when my supplies were available. I asked if I can get the Resmed For Her headgear and cushions and she replied that they don't order those and thought that she hung up - she didn't hang up and I heard her say "YOU MAY WANT A SMALLER SIZE, BUT YOU'LL GET WHAT I SEND YOU!" What an idiot!! Improperly fitting supplies can cause health issues for those with sleep apnea! This woman should not be in any field dealing with supply needs for any patient- PERIOD! Contacted another company yesterday and they had the supplies that I need, info sent from Doctor, picked up supplies today. Will never use this joke of a company again! Michelle should be fired for the way that she treats customers who need her assistance!

I was in Auburn last weekend for homecoming and I had my trusty c-pap machine with me. Normally I use a top on my reservoir that accommodates a SoClean machine. I had purchased a solid top for my reservoir to use when I travel. When I tried to use the machine Thursday night, water was leaking everywhere. Friday I went by HomeMed to see if they would allow me to buy a reservoir for my machine even though I was not a patient of theirs. Not only did they have the one I needed, they gave it to me! I mean, who does that these days. The guys there could not have been nicer. Kudos to HomeMed and thanks again. David

Called with a minor emergency on a holiday. I explained that I understand it’s a holiday and if they couldn’t help to please just let me know because I’d have to drive to Atlanta if they couldn’t. With that understanding, the lady who answered promised someone would call me back very soon. 3 hours later I gave up and drove to Atlanta to get what I needed. 26 hrs later someone called and left me a voicemail. It was a holiday and I get it- no one wants to work. I wish the lady on the phone would’ve just told me no one could respond that day rather than promising a quick call back.

Always have been outstanding service and quality products. It is unfortunate that Medicare has gone up on the copays as it has put most of the needed monthly supplies out of reach. But, when I am able to replenish my supplies, the entire staff is absolutely fantastic.
