Whatever you do DO NOT book with Chaquita (whatever her name is) she is nasty, rude and loud. She will constantly go away for minutes at time. She’s rough and will always be running her mouth on the phone. Her room is very disorganized and ghetto. The braids are decent but it’s not worth it. Do not waste your money for bad service. Everyone else at the salon is fine.

Very diverse and uplifting atmosphere. Extremely talented stylist here. It’s a one stop shop. You can get your hair slayed, brows arches, nails done, lash extensions, and even get an outfit for a night out. I love it here.

The Staff and Environment in the salon is very inviting and they actually make you feel welcomed. Everyone stops to acknowledge your presence. Each time I have been in the salon in the past couple of years I was treated the same way. I highly recommend J Maxwell Salon!

Shout out to J Maxwell Salon and Mrs. Lotta for a last minute beat! I waited to the last minute and didn’t have an appointment and she worked me into her busy schedule. Thank you!! The atmosphere was wonderful. It seemed like every stylist loved what they do and I would definitely recommend this Salon for a queen’s one stop shop, They do it all!!
