It shouldn't even receive one star. We purchased a washer last year with an extended three year warranty for $655.46 and it has been nothing but problems (Whirlpool. We were told to use it until a repairman could get to it. Scheduled for July 17, company was a day late in coming out. Try not to use their repair shop of ChoiceOneAppliance. On July 18 the repairman arrived and said we could continue to use broken machine and he would return in 10 days with parts. August 7 we contact Lowes Customer account and were told the parts would be ordered on that day. Still nothing and machine is about dead. Elderly veterans should avoid Lowes and ChoiceOneAppliance repair. We would like a new machine and/or a full refund so we can buy from a reputable dealer.

I understand you guys are busy. But you've gotta do better than this crap!
Absolutely abysmal customer service manager! I have been on both sides of the fence, and am 100% am not a Karen. I treat people in service with respect. But I've never been treated more poorly without cause. Hung up on twice and held for close to an hour just to have a rude lady tell me that "that's not her problem" and there's nothing they can do" and hang up on me again, without even trying to understand my issue. got treated like crap just to ask a question about a refund. Jfc... I'm embarrassed for you! I'll go anywhere else and pay twice as much just to never step foot in here again.

The costumer service here is awful. They said an order that we asked to be delivered upon purchasing, was placed as an in-store pick up. We asked because we did not have a vehicle that could transport the order. I figured no problem we can just schedule the delivery, this is when they told me that they had loaded it up to be sent back because no one came to pick it up. They did this without contacting us first. After several transferred calls with different people I was finally able to get a manager on the phone and was told we could have it delivered because it wasn't on the truck yet. Was told they would hold it and deliver it when we were ready. Well I called a week later to set up the date and was told they had a delivery date set 5 months from then and it could not be changed. Not going back!!!

If you like poor customer service and having to look for some thing that was never there in the first place this is the store for you. Go to Home Depot it’s just across the street has better customer service and often what you need in stock.

This Lowe's has incredibly bad customer service. The place is severely understaffed, and the employees who are there have basically no knowledge of hardware, and need to be persuaded to to anything for you. Expect a hold time of at least 15 minutes whenever you try to ask any kind of question on the phone, assuming they take you off of hold at all. Overall, dealing with employees here is kind of like trying to motivate a lot of summer school students to do homework. I would suggest that Lowe's do things to incentivize employees, because they would be better off just selling everything online with their current model. I wrote this review while on hold to get some receipt auditing information, and I've currently been on hold for 22 minutes.

Individual store is great! With WONDERFUL employees But Lowe's has horrible third party contractors for installation. They take forever and it's not straight forward and it's hard to talk to a real person. My suggestion: Buy the appliance here but hire your own contractor to pick up and install.

1 star for at least stocking items in the store that I can purchase without needing to ask for assistance or encountering any of their poorly trained and disrespectful staff. I have had multiple bad experiences at this Lowes location. Lowe's used to rank pretty high on the list of home improvement stores, but the staff at the Opelika, AL location have taken poor customer service, follow through and rudeness to an all new LOW(E). I've ordered items both online and in person. Never received them. One time they said it had been discontinued. Why I was able to order it online? The other time i took off work to wait for the scheduled deliver that never arrived. When I went into the store hours after it was supposed to have arrived, I was told it would not be in for another 3 weeks. This is an almost $1,000 appliance. When asked why I did not get a call or other notification that the delivery would not occur, I was told I could get a refund, which did not answer my question. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was put on hold for 30 minutes before the line was hung up. AWFUL. Please overhaul the service, add training and raise the bar for pride in the workplace. Their competitor home improvement store does the customer service game a lot better.

We had the BEST customer service experience today. Erin was the kindest and most helpful Lowe’s employee we have ever worked with. She went above and beyond to ensure we got exactly what we wanted. Thank you ERIN!!!!!!!!!! Keep smiling!!! You are wonderful!!!!

I am a man of many projects and love a good day of work. I need many materials to do this, and Lowe's used to be my spot to get them. However, after my last visit, It will definitely be my last. I bought a pallet of cinder blocks, and the weak ass fulfillment team didn't even have it ready. Keep in mind I ordered this over 24 hours in advance. In response to this I went to Buffalo Wild Wings and participated in the blazing challenge. I then returned to Lowe's and unleashed an absolutely ungodly bowl movement in their shitter. I would consider that commode to still be out of order to this day. If you can't handle the bull don't mess with the horns. #getsome

I can't speak to the rest of the store, but Spencer who does Trim N Go Levolor is nothing short of a saint. I've been up to the store at least 10 times in the last few days and he is always pleasant, efficient, and ready to help! Honestly, the majority of over employees I've interacted with were pretty lame. If y'all hired a bunch of Spencer's though, you'd be the best Lowe's in the nation. This is a 5 star review for him alone, and I hope the higher ups see this review and give credit where it is due!!

We ordered a washer and dryer on December 28th. Originally, it was set to arrive on Tuesday, the 12th. Then it got pushed back to the 13th. THEN it got pushed back to the 14th. THEN we were told the items weren't in stock (when we were originally told they were) and it got pushed back to March 4th and February 11th. The customer service is some of the worst I have ever experienced. It's like they were trying to be bad. I was passed from person to person over the phone and they tried to make me go to the shipping place in Montgomery. Many of the people on the phone were so arrogant. We were lied to and they just don't care. The ineptitude of this store is truly stunning. Clearly, we're not the first ones to have a bad experience with them. Enter at your own risk. You've been warned.

Customer service is about as bad as it gets here. I usually like Lowe's and they typically do a good job but whoever is managing this store should take some serious responsibility for the employee moral and atmosphere that is allowed with the staff. When I got on here to write my review I was not surprised at a 1.5 star rating. Do better Lowe's.

I love going into Lowe's but as we all know how big Lowe's is. The customer service at this place always stresses me out because it's poor. Half the people working here seem like they hate their job, worse part is you are more friendlier than the person checking you out. There is that 1 or 2 people who are great that work here but overall, Lowe's could do a better job teaching their employees customer service skills.
