1520 2nd Avenue, OpelikaThey took us in as a new patient, on a Saturday when our regular vet wouldn’t see our cat because we didn’t have an appointment. (We have been clients at our regular place for 25+ years.) Our cat developed an abscess that burst and was oozing infection. Painful and gross as well as harmful to the rest of us. She needed to be seen.
The clinic was helpful and the doctor efficiently treated our cat. He gave easy to follow instructions and sent us on our way. He didn’t try to talk us into anything we didn’t need like some other places do, and their prices were fair. Thank you to the Animal Health Center for helping us today!

Including this last time when he was boarded for 17 days. He was calm and just glad to be home. You can tell the staff are really compassionate about the animals in their care by their comments, questions and gestures. A notable mention...the office always looks and smells clean!

151 Huguley Road, OpelikaI took my 10-month-old chocolate Lab, Mako, to Maringo Creek Farm for basic obedience training. Before training, he was pulling on every walk and lunging towards people and dogs because he just wanted attention.
Now, I can walk him on a leash with ease and feel confident knowing how to properly correct and redirect him. With a busy schedule, it was difficult to find the time to consistently drill the basics, but Maringo Creek Farm made a huge difference.
There’s so much less stress on our walks now, and I can continue building on his training with a few short sessions each day. I can’t thank the team at Maringo Creek Farm enough for all their help! Now I have a place I trust to board Mako knowing that they will treat him like their own.

Everyone there was so kind and welcoming, and the place itself is very beautiful. We got mochas & a pastry, and everything was so flavorful and tasted like it was made with real ingredients instead of being overly sweet and full of syrup.
