Planet Fitness provides a welcoming and judgement free space with many locations and equipment. The club is typically not too busy and is kept very clean, with staff cleaning hourly and members often cleaning after themselves. It is noted as trucker friendly. The facilities include big, clean showers with very hot water, though some shower heads are currently missing. The equipment is generally good and has been recently updated in some areas, though some machines could be newer and heavier dumbbells are desired. A specific machine, the total body enhancement, has been broken for an extended period. Overall, it is considered a great experience and a favorite for many.

I had an issue with my account that required me to go in person to handle at the Opelika planet fitness location. There I was helped by Elizabeth. She was very helpful and kind answering all my questions. Appreciate your help Elizabeth!

Really enjoy this facility. Plenty of clean functional equipment, with some new amenities.
