Home Depot seems to have all around better staffing than its competition. I went to Home Depot's competition to buy a few pieces of lumber and it was frustrating because they did not have the lumber labeled. Frustrated, I went to Home Depot and all of the lumber was labeled therefore I knew exactly where to find what I needed. Little stuff like that makes a difference.

This Home Depot store is okay but their delivery and customer service suck. We have been waiting on 3 vanities for weeks to no avail. They have scheduled 3 different times and failed to show up twice. The third time they said the "driveway was a on a hill" and they were afraid to drive up it..... called the store and they were zero help. Now I have to go to the store to cancel the order and walk across the street to Lowes for actual customer service. Pitiful.

After a mess-up in ordering my refrigerator & receiving the wrong one (new product & no help from Samsung), Cassandra spent many hours clearing up the issue, keeping me informed, and making sure the problem was resolved. Thank you to Cassandra for all her help!

Sunday, 7:35. Walking in, parking lot lights were turned off. The store does not close until 8:00. Was looking for a faucet real quick. Could not find anyone to help me. And now it's over intercom at the store was closing in 20 minutes to please bring my purchases to the front. I thought if the store was open, it was open and the parking lot would be lit and the prime sign on. I guess they won't to dissuade customers coming in after 7:30 making them think the store was already closed.

Night and day when you compare customer service/help to Lowe's. I'll never go back to this location. Bought a 75 lb sink and ended up taking it back because it was chipped, after we had plumbers out to put it in. The box was open but we couldn't see it until we took it out. The lady that helped us was not helpful at all unless you count her getting us a cart so that I could lift this with my boyfriend. I had to ask her for assistance so I didn't have to lift it. After checkout they called for someone to help get it in the car. After waiting a while we just did it ourselves. First of all, I don't understand why it was most likely returned and not checked before putting back on the shelf. Second, she said she had none in stock but then said we could buy the one on the shelf and that it should be fine even though it was opened. The same thing happened at Lowe's where they had zero inventory except one on the shelf that had been opened. He told us it was a return and wouldn't recommend getting it. Everyone we encountered at Lowe's was so much more welcoming and helpful. When they called someone to help get it in the car we didn't wait very long. This HD location needs to have a higher standard for employees.

Stayed on hold for 45 min trying to get someone to talk to me about a defected range top Never got anyone in appliance to pick up phone Once I get this resolved will not go back to Home Depot

I continually have service issues at this location. Either unhelpful or don't try to help at all. I spent 10 minutes looking for product with four associates around me and none of them asked once if they could help me with something, not could I get a word in while they argued about who was going to unload freight and where product was in the aisle. This is my last visit to this location. I will either use the location in Phenix City or Columbus moving forward!

If you need someone to help you, go to Lowes. The staff at Home Depot was not helpful at all and pretty rude in general.

It was great. If you go ask for Kyle in the pro section in building materials, lumber area. He is a fine young man Home Depot got a winner with him.

I shop here a lot i make on average 300 trips per year to the Opelika home depot and the number one problem I have is with all the pro loaders except one I can't tell you how many times I will be loading large amounts of products and those guys will either just stand there or talk to each other. I was there about 20 mins ago and this guy just stood there and watched me and another troop of people load there trucks he walks inside so I follow himHe was to back of store and starts talking with two other employees.I think I may try to get a job there looks great stand around do nothing and shoot the breeze till you go home f!#$ing awesome

I rarely go to Home Depot... The reason for that is because every time I go I have terrible service. I have gone maybe 5 times in my life and every time I have had crappy services here. Last time I went I had to get a new door for my home because it was broken into, well I went told them the size I need and then they gave me the wrong size! Then I return the door a few days later and the customer service were nothing but rude! Had an attitude the whole time I was trying to get help! I then return because I could not find a door anywhere else that was the proper size. This time though I find the door and measure it before I leave. Though it did take me a hour and a half to get help to get it down because a guy working there told me he was going to get me help then never returned. I had to finally go to the front desk to get help, they had it down in 5 minutes! I will not be returning...

If you're needing any appliances, go to Home Depot in Tigertow, Opelika and ask for Jessica Daniels. She's knowledgeable, helpful and an absolute delight to work with. I go to Atlanta Falcons football games to a booth next to Arthur Blank. I took her information and will share it with Arthur when I see him next. I was so impressed with this person. She's a delight to work with.
