This store has to be one of the worst ones I have been to the manger is rude and likes to talk behind others backs and she likes to yell in the store like there is no one else there will not be back again. The District manger really needs to look into all of this 🥱

My mom got trapped in the men’s bathroom here. It was probably the funniest thing I have heard in a while. 10/10 would recommend getting trapped here. The cutest firefighters show up to help.

I am absolutely disgusted at the way a lady (if she even is that) was treating her coworker. I do not know her name, but she was screaming across the entire store at a sweet girl named Makayla. she was doing her job, cleaning the bathroom and screamed at her to get to the front. (the lady yelling was already at the front) she was also yelling at Jen because apparently she’s the one who told her to clean the bathrooms. this was about 7:15 PM on Saturday, July 13. Makayla is a better person than me because I would not have taken the disrespect. it’s hard to find good help nowadays, but I know Makayla is good help. the manager, or lady who thinks she’s the manager, should be put in her place.

I shop here often and it’s the best kept DG in the area. Opens early 7:00 am and very clean and organized. Manager really manages her inventory. I shop several Dollar Generals abd this one is best.

The store had a cashier at the time we entered the store but after 35 minutes shopping only the self checkout lanes were open. I asked if there was someone running a register who could check me out since I had an entire cart full of approximately 200 dollars worth of items. I walked off and left the cart there. I choose to shop only where there are employees working the registers. One item upto maybe 10 I would do self check out but not with 2 employees who were in the office not stocking or assisting other customers. I hate Walmart because of their practices...hate to see DG doing the same thing. Have left message with corporate office so they will make changes. Ohhh and the young girl who would t open a register told me not to leave the items there for her to have to put back up. I stated I'm not doing your job for you...you made a choice not to open a register and I made the choice to leave after wasting 45 minutes of my time. Disappointing ....I shop DG .almost daily as a loyal customer.

June 20, 2022 (two stars)Stopped to pick up a few items. The store is in a convenient location and well stocked with an extremely wide assortment of goods. I can see why it is very popular. The aisles, however, are too narrow for two shopping cars to pass by each other.The new self-checkout machines are annoying. When I used a credit card to pay, a screen displayed "Signature Required". I entered it on the touch pad signature block, pressed "Accept" and nothing happened. So I hit "Clear", entered it again, pressed "Accept". Same result. Took me a minute to locate an employee to help with the checkout. She said, "Oh - you have to hit "Decline" for it to work."Good grief.From 2021 (one star)SHOP ELSEWHERE!Despite a state-wide order for face masks, and signs requiring masks posted on the doors to this store, there were several people in the narrow aisles who were NOT wearing masks.I was there this afternoon and saw perhaps nine other people - three customers and six or seven employees. The customers were all wearing masks, thank you. But among the employees, only one was wearing a mask; two had masks hanging around their necks (including the cashier!); and the rest had none at all.DO NOT patronize this hypocritical and narcissistic store.BE SAFE! STAY AWAY!Warning: Dollar General employees' same disregard for customers exists at the other Dollar General on Orange Beach Blvd. See my separate review of that location.

Clean, quiet and well stocked. At least by Dollar General standards. They have a smattering of fresh fruits and meat, but you won't mistake it for a real grocery store.
