After purchasing the storage facility from a local owner two years ago, Storage Spence in Owens Cross Roads raised my rates by almost double (88.7%) over two years. They claimed they needed new lights and a new key pad for the entry. They also said since most units were rented, demand was high and that justified their increase. As of last week there were 14 non-working lights, the keypad has remained the same and I counted over 30 unoccupied units just in my facility. Theirs is just a “stick it to them profit grab.”
