I don’t know about other locations, but this Oxford store is absolutely horrific. Bought a brand new stove/refrigerator set and waited two weeks for it to be delivered. Delivery guy was extremely rude and impatient and tried everything he could to keep from having to
bring the refrigerator in the house even though he was paid to do so, simply because he had to come up 3 stairs and it was a tight fit. Gets it in the foyer and refuses to install it in the kitchen like he was paid to do and leaves. My wife and I installed it ourselves and guess what? The ice maker doesn’t work and there is no water to the door. Lowe’s refuses to do anything about it because 48 hours has passed. Has their delivery/install people stayed and hooked it up like they were paid to do, they would have seen right then that It didn’t work and they could have swapped it out. Now the GE repairman has come out and had to order $1200 of parts and we have to wait another 2 weeks for them to come in. Also the freezer has quit working and all of our food has thawed out. Lowe’s refuses to swap it out or do anything since it’s been over 48 hours. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE. They are rude, impatient, and simply hard to deal with. Will never order anything else from them. Like a billion dollar corporation could care but still, I won’t.
*** Also, they brought the wrong stove. We called them to let them know and guess what they did? Said oh, that one is more expensive. We will have to run your card for the difference. Should have just kept my mouth shut instead of being honest.
***edit: now, 3 weeks later, the refrigerator has stopped cooling

First Lowe's I've encountered assistance and not just once- but TWICE! They found me and asked me! It was so surreal! Pay attention Trussville and Gadsden Lowe's as this store is worth the 35 minute drive. It's bigger and their employees walk around the whole store and seek out a customer to offer assistance. It's part of their service plan. And it worked. Last night I spent a 1/2 hour trying to get help with a gasket for a sink drain that I knew nothing about but was called to get as it was found to need replacement putting my new sink in. This was upon my return trip after I had bought a new sink and didn't get the one I wanted. The one I really wanted was on the top shelf in Gadsden Lowe's but after waiting 35 minutes in the ghost town it saved me $150. But they got the last laugh as it cost me an extra trip because no one told me the bottom strainer traps don't come with them- remember I was left alone on the Gadsden Lowe's Island. But a got a cutting board and a dish drainer (that I didn't need...?? Ugh...). Trussville Lowe's is the same but they have Home Depot next door to give me happy customer feels. The poor customers of Gadsden are just stuck with no competitors after 6:00 PM. Bless.

I ordered counter tops and cabinet s I was supposed to get them on May 19,2023, my order was never delivered along with this order we had lumber too almost 2000.00 we had spent plus paid a delivery fee of 94.00 to get I'm sorry but the driver is on vacation in till Tuesday!!!! That was today, May 23,2023 well the lumber came and no cabinets!!!!! I've been and have dealt with different Lowe's over the USA and this Lowe's is the most unreliable one I have ever had to deal with, all the employees look down to the floor so you won't ask questions they pass you from one person to another. I asked to speak to the manager of the store and they hung up on me The worst run store I've ever been in and will never go back to this one in Oxford Alabama!!!!! NEVER wish me luck in getting my cabinets and the rest of my counter top Linda Miner Roanoke Alabama

#lowesoxford If you buy anything from Lowe's, buy that shit online. My in-store purchase was $729.00 on my account. I was told that they do not honor their online prices for their customers. I'm closing my account.

Sales person did NOT tell me I would need a power cord for my new stove. First time buying a new range and was ignorant to the fact. So was he. Delivery guys get here without a spare on the truck. I didn’t sign the paperwork because it wasn’t installed. I had to drive to the Oxford location to get a 3 prong long cord. I also had to install it myself due to the delivery drivers not coming back. Manager wanted to reschedule for Monday. I work and that’s why I preferred weekend delivery and set up. The problem is that I had to do the setup. Rookie errors and apparently very poor training of the sales staff. I’m closing my Lowe’s account after I pay off my stove.

Lowes garden center has many beautiful flowers to choose from right now! Hard to pick a favorite.

Their better here. At home depot they don't assist you like they do at Lowe's. They even helped me load up after. I was finished shopping.

We have made countless trips to this Lowe's for supplies during a bathroom remodel. The employees at this Lowe's have been very attentive and always making sure I'm finding things ok. They also help quickly and accurately when I ask a question or can't find something. Lowe's has a great selection of products and great employees so if you need home improvement stuff, this is the place to go. UPDATE: we just made a trip on a gross day to pick up some stuff for a project and received the best help from Michael and Joshua. Very attentive and even helped us load the wood into the truck. Made a gross stormy day running errands a lot more pleasant!

We usually end up at this store ONLY for the fact they have what we need most of the time vs Home Depot. It's only after we check Home Depot that we do go to Lowe's. But I would take Home Depot associates any day. Always friendly. Checking out y'day, cashiers sulky...no smiles. Tried to speak to a couple of them. No response. The one that checked is out just had to pull her phone from her apron and look at it. Rather it was to check the time or whatever, you should never pull the phone out at a work station in front of customers Didn't offer to bag my items(I picked them up and told her not to bother if it was too much trouble..she should have at least asked) If management doesn't get an upper hand and train these "do I have to work attitude kids", your going to loose business...
