They had a bad reputation in the past for not having the best fish department but they've revamped everything and hired a new guy that knows what he's doing the last time I was in there I didn't see one dead fish the water looked like it was definitely taking care of and they had a lot of new different types of fish than the ones that they used to have that were just the same things over and over and over again looks as if they finally got it together the lady checking you out is it mean and actually seems like she wants to check you out LOL ???

We drove a hour and fifteen minutes to have our one year old shitzu groomed. Our appointment was at 9am. After setting up the appointment online and bringing proper paperwork and rabies tag, we were told “Pet Smart” policy that we could not have the service completed. Thank you for showing me that I needed to take my business and money somewhere else.

It had what we needed but 199% geared for pet owners. Nothing really for working dog people.

I love the cat food brands and supplies they carry. The personnel are all helpful, friendly, and efficient. I drive 9.5 miles one way to go there.

I went into the store with a 1 yr old female German Shepherd mix I had rescued from the Calhoun County Animal Control facility a week prior. A small doggie who had been abandoned 3 months prior on the side of the road. She vomited in my truck as we pulled in the parking lot. As we entered the store we encountered an employee I knew was a manager. I explained the previous and asked for some paper towels to clean her up. I was given 4 small paper towels and a barf bag. The employee walked away. It was then I knew she was a manager. I took my girl outside and got her cleaned up as best I could. We then reentered the store. That employee saw me come back in. Instead of approaching me and asking me if the little girl was ok and what we needed to get her, she was too busy facing product on shelves and completely ignored me. I asked the very busy cashier if there was anybody else who could help me. Then out of nowhere Travis appeared like an angel. He was so kind to my very nervous dog and she seemed to really like him. We got her a bed, a collar, a name tag, and some bones. Can't tell you how much I appreciate Travis. I asked him if I could have some paper towels to clean up the rest of the vomit on my truck seat. He gave me a roll. I didn't use that much. I returned the roll. When I did I asked the cashier if that other girl was a manager. She said yes. I asked for a name. She said Nellie (sic). I will be calling the store tomorrow and asking for their corporate # to suggest that Nellie get promoted up the corporate chain as soon as possible. She obviously does not care about animals. She does however care about company cost of a damn paper towel.
