Myers Plants & Pottery is a true Alabama destination and treasure trove of exotic and native plants, pottery, and garden art. It is one of the only plant shops in the area with a great selection of rarer plants and a great variety of outdoor plants. The business also features a unique gift shop with new items arriving daily, including pots, decorative items, and cool stuff. It has expanded to sell Koi Fish, Goldfish, and everything needed for a perfect Koi Pond. Customers can also find organic fertilizers to help plants thrive. The owners are very friendly, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable, offering advice for what will work best for a yard. They are known for being accommodating, even taking payment over the phone and holding items for customers. The store is open on Sundays, which is a unique convenience. While some items can be a little more pricey, this is understandable given the wide and amazing selection. It is considered the best plant nursery around, and many customers cannot visit the area without stopping to buy a new little random plant or a weird one-of-a-kind knick-knack.

I love going to Myers to shop for unusual gifts and holiday/home decor. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Looking forward to shopping for plants when the weather gets warmer this spring, as they also carry a great selection of plants good for our area.

This is the best gift shop in the Birmingham area. All of you that may have shopped the Mole Hole many years ago in the Galleria, this shop is reminiscent of that store. Most unique and whimsical gifts ever.
