My experience with this “dealership”:
Red flag #1 - prior to a test I notice the message says the oil needs to be changed. “Yeah it has been changed.” But you couldn’t do the simple reset?? And there’s no evidence of the change…
Red flag #2 - claims “minor accident” history. The passenger front fender/door has obvious poor-ish repair (including the door hinges). The passenger window almost fell off the track on the test drive and wouldn’t close air tight on the highway!
Red flag #3 - after trying to inform the elderly gentleman who apparently runs the place he responds in this over the top rude manner about how he doesn’t need to listen to our complaints on a used car. Mind you I wouldn’t touch this car with your money I’m just trying to point out things I noticed (including a sizable oil leak). This dude was a real jerk to be honest.
Buyer beware here. I believe they are looking for suckers who don’t know cars. Bet they’ll hook you up with 17% interest on that loan too.

We just had the most delightful car buying experience!! Absolutely no pressure at all!! They stand behind their cars and encourage customers to have it looked at by their your own mechanic. Any issues that we found (very minor) they fixed!! No problem at all!!
The paper work portion was easy and light!! Thank you ma’am for being so sweet to us!!
My son is super happy with his car!!
Thank you!!

7 years ago I bought my Acura TSX from here. 99,000 miles or so on it. Now I'm at 230,000 miles and she's still trucking with minimal work done. I'm planning on buying my next car here too!

VERY RUDE LADY THAT ANSWERS THE PHONES! I WOULD ABSOLUTELY DISCOURAGE ANYONE FROM HAVING TO CONTACT THIS PLACE IF THAT'S WHO ALWAYS ANSWERS THE PHONES HERE! UNPROFESSIONAL AND DEFINETLY NOT OPEN AND HONEST IN ANSWERING QUESTIONS REGARDING WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE VEHICLES THEY ARE SELLING!

20 years ago, I purchased my daughter’s first car, a Honda Civic, from Pelham Imports, at age 16. Later, her sophomore year in college, I went back, traded that Honda Civic in on a Volkswagen Jetta, from Pelham Imports. That Jetta lasted her several years, throughout college, post college and until she was married. My 3rd vehicle purchased, from Pelham Imports, about 10 years ago, I purchased a used Honda for my son, on his 18 birthday, prior to going off to college. That car lasted him right at 380,000 miles without any problems. He later sold the car and bought a new one upon graduation from college and accepting a job on the Gulf Coast. Last week, I purchased my 4th used car from Pelham Imports for my adopted son’s 18 birthday, a Toyota Corolla, Hammed, the owner of Pelham Imports, was true to his word again. Took care of every issue we pointed out about the car. I’ve dealt with Pelham Imports for over 20 years and never had any issues whatsoever with the cars I’ve bought from them. The owner, Hammed, treats everyone with dignity and respect. Dealing with him, has always been a pleasant for my family.

They are fraud. Daylight robbers. They sold me a F150 truck that gave me nothing but problems from day first. I bought extended warranty with it that they sold by saying this is accepted at the Ford Dealership. I called Ford Dealership in Hoover and they told me that they have stopped taking this kind of warranty 3 years ago. I called Pelham Imports and they told me to call the Warranty Company and they can't do anything if Ford doesn't take it. They were rude, not professional. I am going to sue them for their non-professional behavior and also for the fraud they have committed.
Please, take your business somewhere else and save yourself stress and money.
Now you are lying again. I brought back the truck the very next day with engine oil light sign. In fact it was the same day while driving home from you dealership but I couldn’t just turn around. Then for upholstery(that still has cuts on it). I told you about the backup camera a couple of weeks ago and you even at that time told me I have extended warranty and I should take it to Ford dealer to get it replaced.
You convinced me to spend more than $3k to buy the extended warranty saying that I can take this to any Ford dealer and that was a lie. For Dealership told me that they have stopped honoring this warranty more than 3 years ago. It’s hard to believe you didn’t know that. This truck has given nothing but issues and this was my 2nd purchase with you. I bought Mustang from you that was later totaled because they couldn’t repair. That car had a severe accident that you never revealed but I never complained. But, this time if still remain silent, you will betray other people and I don’t want you to have a free pass.
You are a fraud and I am going to sue you. I just wanted to give you a chance for mitigation that you rudely refused. I never wanted you ti buy back the truck but when you were rude.
See you in court soon. Rest assured!

We purchased a 2014 Elantra 2 weeks ago for our daughter. They did not hassle us and after signing paperwork for an as is car they still kept their word. They purchased her a new battery and ordered a part for us to insert inside the car and had it shipped to her in Huntsville. So far we are very satisfied. Deloris and everyone that was there that late evening was very helpful. We will definitely recommend and come back again.

I bought several cars from them. They are the nicest people I have ever worked with. They helped my daughters when they needed repairs and gave us body shops to help with fender benders. If you need a used car or something for your teenager this is the place to go. They offer financing options with all the local banks and credit unions. It was so easy to work with them. Thank you Pelham Imports ! I will be back !

I went to Pelham Imports to check out a vehicle that was advertised online. The owner handed me the keys and told me to go check it out and take it for a test drive if I wanted to. The car was completely dead and the passenger-side front tire was flat. In the engine compartment, the engine had piles of acorn hulls in multiple places on the engine block and they were also found inside the air intake beneath the air filter. I also noted what appeared to be mouse droppings in the engine compartment, behind the rear seats, and in the well where the spare tire is stored. There was also water standing beneath the spare tire. The owner claimed the water was left over from when they “recently” shampooed the inside of the (dead) car. Hmmmm. Before I found the standing water, he said that it was “the cleanest Prius “ he had “ever seen“. When I said that seemed to be a lot of water left over from shampooing, he stormed off muttering something about “nit-picking the car to death”. BUYER BEWARE!!!!
Response to dealer’s reply:
My wife was present when the car was examined and can verify that EVERYTHING that I reported in my initial review is 100% accurate. As a 60 year old Army veteran with a doctorate degree, I can easily and accurately recognize if I see acorns when I look under an air filter. I am also highly adept at telling the difference between the presence of “moisture” and an actual puddle! I have seen quite a few mouse “pellets” in my time so I feel pretty confident with my assessment but, the next time I check out a used car, I will be sure to bring my “doodoo detector”. I’ll let the buying public decide who they think is telling the truth.
