Justin Ruger was very nice enough to stay over to do an oil change for me although they were understaffed. He was very quick and efficient. Highly recommended.

Service people were great and did their jobs well, no complaints there but why would they allow you to schedule an appointment without technicians on site. Why are technicians not on site when the doors open? It took them 30 minutes after my appointment time to get my car into the bay and the typical amount of time to do the repairs. Whoever does the scheduling needs a different job!

If there was a way to leave a zero for a review I would Pelham Al pep boys is terrible. They took over 2 hours for a simple oil change and tire rotation. I had a 8:30 appt and I am now checking out at 10:47. This is not the first, second or third time but it will be the last time I come here. When I checked in they did not say they already had 2 cars in the bay before me. Other customers were also angry it was taking so long. Do not come here if you value time and good service.

I contacted PepBoys for a tire rotation and oil change appointment and spoke with Dan. He was extremely pleasant by phone and secured my appointment. My car was serviced in a timely fashion. Dan was again on top of excellent customer service when I picked up my car. Unfortunately, a customer was behaving in such a rude manner towards Dan while standing in the employee entrance/exit area and refused to move. Dan maintained professionalism when the customer refused to move. I have had mixed experiences with Pepboys over the years , but this one exceeds them. Hopefully this staff will remain.

We were on our way out of town. We communicated by phone and they took care of our tire issue. They allowed us to leave our car in their lot until we returned from our trip. The went the extra mile for us.

We were traveling to Florida on vacation and our alternator went out. Pep Boys was a Godsend! They located the part, replaced it, the battery and had us out within 3 hours! They helped us still get to our destination same day even though we didn’t have an appointment and they were so, so busy.

Called 2 days ahead for pricing for brakes on my vehicle as I suspected I needed them. I was told 269.99 per axle. I asked if that included labor & was told yes. I asked if that included rotors if needed & I was told yes. I came in for an oil change & brakes today & was quoted $700 bucks! I inquired why the price jumped over 400 dollars & they could not give me a reason why I was quoted said price other than it being just brakes they quoted me. However the price for the brakes didn’t match the quote they gave me either. I’m assuming the lady I spoke with was the manager but she also seemed confused. The whole time I was there the manager was on the phone speaking loudly in the waiting area. The representatives were really nice however if you’re going to quote someone a price make sure it is correct as it’s inconvenient to take 2-3 hours out of your day & get a price jump that big.

This is my favorite pep boys to come to I drive well over 25 miles to this specific one for routine maintenance because I know they will take the time to make sure my car is in the best condition! Without making me feel like I’m spending unnecessary money. Highly highly recommend?

Teresa was fantastic. I will be back. Pep boys is lucky to have her. Fast and a timely manner replacing tore stems. Zach was fantastic as well. Very polite and professional.

I would give zero stars if I could. They're either dishonest or incompetent. My teenage daughter wanted to get a fast oil change between work shifts, so she brought it here instead of to our normal mechanic. After she left, the engine was making grinding noises. I was out of town for work, so her boyfriend helped her check, and the oil level was basically empty. She had to go back with her boyfriend and argue with them. He made them put oil in while they watched, and they ended up putting five quarts of oil in. The car only takes five quarts, so it was clearly totally empty after they supposedly changed the oil the first time. They did give her a refund, but that doesn't count for much, to be honest.

Had appointment for 12:30. Finally left just after 4:30. Also estimated my tires to be around $1350-$1400 and when I got the final bill it was over $1650. I know balancing and mounting is extra but no one ever told me that mounting, balancing, and road hazard is a new $299 fee. Very convenient after waiting four hours for tires to drop the fee on me. Other customers that appointment times also were told they didn’t know how long it would be before they were done. Hopefully it was just a bad day for this location. I was very disappointed.

I would NOT trust Pep Boys to put air in my tires. They sent me on my way WITHOUT bleeding my brakes. They knew I had a leaking cylinder in the rear and didn't want to deal with it. No integrity at all. Shady. That potentially put me and others in danger. Not taken lightly at all. SHAME ON YOU.
