Drove an hour to get there. Arrived earlier than my scheduled appointment, more than an hour later vehicle was still not taken back to be worked on. Huge waste of time. Uhaul should not be making appointments for work they can't handle.

I had originally scheduled my hitch install at the Bessemer UHAUL location more than two months ago. They were TERRIBLE. Long story short, they dropped the ball despite my prepaying close to $500 two months prior to get a hitch installed on my car. Called me as I was on my way to say they hadn't ordered the parts, nor did they schedule anyone to come in and install the hitch. I was LIVID.
I ended up at the Pelham location and the experience was night and day different. The service agents were kind and helpful and squeezed me in for a fast install. They could NOT have been nicer. And the person who installed my hitch took time to explain several things to keep in mind. I don't care where you are, if you need UHAUL services in north Alabama, the PELHAM location is the place you should go! A big thanks to everyone there for talking me off the ledge and doing such a great job on my installation.

Top-notch customer service! Ms Kendra is truly amazing for making sure that I will get all the service and information regarding the installation of the tow hitch. I will definitely recommend u-haul pelham to my friends and colleagues.

One star is actually too many. Angela was rude and unhelpful. She started the conversation out with “Do you want something?“ It’s really sad that we are reduced to hiring people who just don’t care and don’t want to be there because it is easier to stay home and let the government pay your way. I would not recommend a visit to this particular store unless you like being treated poorly.

Had a bad experience. They charged me $625 for a relocation fee and I used the trailer in town and brought back to same location. Yet to see refund.

My family and I needed to move 2 Large arm chairs, The price on the U-Haul truck was $19:99. I was asked how many miles would I need the truck to drive, I told her 30 miles. My price was $59.00 and a full tank of gasoline to drive the truck. My my coupons didn't work I was totally disappointed.

Rented a pickup truck last year from here to haul some roofing material. Fast and courteous. Got me in the truck in 10 minutes even taking the time to explain return procedures. The return process was even easier.

Tried to rent a "One way" truck. Visited this U-haul location and waited in line with 4 to 5 other customers that had been waiting over 30 minutes just to talk to someone.
