On July 21st mail carrier said they made an attempt to deliver my package, couldn’t have made an attempt because of animal. I don’t have any animals. But regular mail carrier.

8:45 and they still aren’t open. Opening time is 8:30 for a Thursday.

The worker locked the door in my face, before the 4:30 closing time. I proceeded to step through the exit door to ask her to please allow me to get postage for my package because the sign on the door said they close at 4:30, and it was a few minutes before 4:30. She refused to wait on me and was very rude. She threatened to call the police and have me escorted out. I have never experienced anything as bad as this situation. I’m shocked that someone like her is allowed to be in a position of customer service. Worst customer service experience I’ve ever experienced, and I will never return to the Pelham, AL post office. She was not wearing a name badge, refused to tell me her name, and refused to allow me to speak to someone else. The postmaster of this location should be ashamed over the poor treatment of a customer. This incident took place Friday, 6/12/25 at 4:25pm, Pelham, Alabama.

nothing but trouble since moving to this area. Had to start getting mail and packages delivered to work and friends. Made a mistake and had a couple of packages delivered to my house. Now I’m out the money and product.

I tried to mail out a package, but was unable to. I had my product in a box and had the printed pre paid label with me. I was told by the lady at the front desk that she couldn’t tape the label onto the box and that I would need to either buy tape from them or come back later with it taped onto the box. I have never had an issue with a USPS facility taping a label to a package. This is so beyond ridiculous and I will never come back to this location. I hope this is addressed with staff.

Just left I had never been to a post office with such a rude person at the front . An older woman with brown hair and glasses Sue I’m assuming based upon other comments but she really should be named Karen . She is rude, racist and clearly will play the victim. All I wanted to do if finish what I started online . Customer Service is not it maybe she need to go to the back and do sorting .
Thanks, to the young nice man assisting those with passports for coming to help me. I’ll will not be returning I go to another one before going back there.

Who knew a trip to the post office could feel like a stop at Cheers—where everybody knows your name (or at least Stephen does)? Stephen was an absolute delight! Friendly, efficient, and so bubbly I’m convinced he runs on espresso and pure joy. I came to mail a package, but now I kinda want to come back just to buy stamps and chat with him. If the USPS gave out gold stars, Stephen would need a whole roll.

There are two staff members who treat each other very badly. The older lady asked the younger worker something, but the younger one didn’t respond at all. I don’t know what’s going on, but they both seem very uncomfortable. As a customer, I had to manage the situation myself just to get my request answered. They clearly need to work together, but because the younger one didn’t respond, I had to figure out on my own who to go to in order to receive the service!

I had an excellent experience here. My package was mistakenly delivered to this office. Amber promptly took down my name and number and called me back within 15 minutes. She provided me with my package, its location, and an explanation for the mix-up. I genuinely appreciate her assistance and professionalism!

I would like to say that I have been coming to this office for approximately 7 years and I have never had a complaint, they always treated me with respect, cordiality and they helped me if there was a problem, 3 months ago there is a new girl whose name I don't know who has unfortunately helped me the last few times and it has been the worst, this last time I had a problem with the shipment of a box and she did not give me any answer of what happened and she left me alone in the front and went to talk to her colleagues in the back and ignored me, I do not like to do this type of reviews, I always try to see the best in each place but this filled my patience, if you do not like your job or the customer service simply change jobs, today is the last time I go to this office

Employees could use an attitude adjustment. Especially when no one else is in line and they were just sitting down. Acting like I’m inconveniencing them to send out a letter which is the whole point of the post office.
