Encountered the foulest woman working here today. She kept talking to me like I was a moron and should know everything about postal policies. Avoid avoid avoid.

I always dread when one of my packages is set to be delivered by this USPS. It's 50/50 on whether they actually arrive here or are delivered somewhere else.

I understand they have a lot on their plate with hundreds of packages. They need more help honestly. But if you have a bad attitude you will shift your atmosphere to all negative. I understand people are hard to deal with, but honey a smile and some kindness will go a long way.

Ok...I was going to leave 1 star and absolutely let loose, but because they DID resolve the issue when I finally had to go to their location to convince them of the issue, I will give them 2 stars. I recently moved from Alabaster to Pelham...15 min away. I filled out all the appropriate paperwork to change my address, started recieving mail at my new address and then all the sudden, all my mail and packages started disappearing. My mom's mail started disappearing, as well. I brought all the tracking #s I had into the post office and after having to CONVINCE them that their website said my packages were sitting in their office somewhere, AFTER they tried to convince me that all my mail had been rerouted to Tampa, FL (???as is their policy???) before being delivered 15 minutes away from my old address, they finally found my packages... sitting in the back of their office. I had to beg them to please just check around! AND they found my mom's mail. They had put all our mail on a "premium hold." I don't even know what that is!! How long would it have taken to get our mail had I not gone down there, with tracking numbers, to take this mysterious hold off and then STAYED to convince them they had our mail SOMEWHERE in their office? On top of that, one package that was SUPPOSED to be forwarded with everything else, somehow got delivered to my old address and is now somewhere in rerouting Heaven....no telling when I'll get it.EDIT: I never got that last package. It was delivered to somewhere in the middle of what looks like undeveloped land??? I had to go through paperwork with the company I purchased the missing item from and thankfully, they saw what had happened and sent me another item free of charge.

Most unfriendly postal workers in the world, very rude its like you’re bothering them if you want something other than stamps. They never answer the phone, the fax machine is always busy. If I have pkgs delivered especially on weekend they are almost always left at wrong address, sometimes I never receive them.Poor business.

My package got sent back because it claims the address doesn't exist. Which is ridiculous because it's the same address in the GPS. Anyways I decide to call to see if they can hold my package and I can go pick it up myself.... NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE even though they are open. Called for 20 minutes straight and nothing.... it's ridiculous is anyone even working over there?

Just watched both of the USPS employees go above and beyond for their customers and even did the same for me after the Hoover Post Office gave me hell. Absolutely AMAZING customer service and genuinely nice employees. I would gladly drive a bit further for the smiles, care, and service this branch provides!

If I could give this agency 0 stars I would! On 5/20/22, I applied for a passport. Debbie, the passport assistant was at lunch; therefore, all my documentation was left with Sue, who put all my information in a draw. She assured me that my documentation (passport application, passport picture, original birth certificate) would not get lost. On 6/7/22, the USPS $35 passport processing fee cleared my account; however, 12 weeks later....the $130 passport fee hadn't cleared my account. I called the travel agency which also confirmed that. On 9/1/22, I spoke to Angela, an acting supervisor at the Pelham location. She completed research and determined my documents couldn't be found. On 9/6/22, I spoke with the Postmaster Sandora (sp) who didn't seem to care at all. Not once did he apologize for his agency losing my documents. In a nonchalant manner, he took my contact information and stated he would reach out to Debbie, who has already retired. Hence, I'll never hear from him! Now, my personal information is floating around and could get into the hands of the wrong person....RIDICULOUS!

Where is the customer service?? First off, you have to wait forever in line for someone to get to you. The older white lady that works there(think her name is Sue), is rude and racist! She had a very condescending tone and when I asked her to not talk to me in that manner, she got mad, threatened to call the police on me, and refused to help me! She accused me of being rude but how do you expect me to be nice to you when you are talking to me like I’m trash???! No ma’am! Learn how to deal with the public if you’re going to work in customer service.. As a black woman in America, it’s disheartening to see how easily it is for someone to put you in a predicament that could have gone all bad! All because of their lack of customer service skills! I never raised my voice and I never used profane language towards her! Where is the respect?? Smh

My package with the message “Do Not Fold” was delivered folded in my mailbox. The postal delivery person could care less

Recently the driver in our neighbor hood nearly hit me and my dog as she sped around us and through a stop sign without even slowing down. I have made multiple attempts to reach the Post Master but I cannot even get anyone there to answer the phone! Please be careful!

Was supposed to have a package delivered Saturday 7/16. Tracking stated no access to delivery location and now the package is being held at the post office "per customer request". I didn't request this and the delivery location was clear all day - I WAS HOME WAITING. Now, they won't answer the phone. I filed two complaints. Avoid at all costs. Any positive reviews are fake - trust me.

Pelham Post Office employee SUE was extremely rude and unprofessional. Unable to answer simple questions, followed by misreading information and making mistake ms. Sue threw tracking paper at me while walking away from the counter. This woman should be working somewhere in the back and not interact with public. I was very nice; after she made a mistake she got really smart with me and then she continued further insulting me.
