Slow oil change, 1 person at desk, register wasn't working, had to take all customers to sporting goods. FINALLY finished my car, 2 people couldn't pull up my ticket, 3rd guy comes over smd pulls it up, 2nd guy says "Thanks for making me feel Special Ed!" I gently said "That was Highly Offensive!!!" He apologized.... called the manager as soon as I left...I am a special needs mom, either way that is inappropriate language.... what does he say at home and how is he raising his children to speak... WILL NOT BE GOING BACK!!!

Shop manager runs a tight ship! Carly (I believe) was very professional and fast. The other walmart shop over in hoover took an hour to find someone who even knew how to ring up a warranty replacement, and then realized they didnt have the right tire anyway. These folks, on the other hand, had me in and out with the job done right in that same amount of time and the warranty honored. Don't bother with Hoover, just come here instead.

They have only one technician at this location. Management is very nasty.

Everyone was super kind and helpful. They replaced my tires, which were almost at their end, and I’m really thankful.

I needed to exchange my 2018 battery that was under a 5 year warranty. The lady lied to my family member that was trying to help me out while I was out of state and said that I was not able to use my warranty, because I had already used it. It was the same exact batter that I purchased the first time. I have never received a replacement battery. I also tried to call the auto shop and the regular Walmart store and no one picked up. I wanted to speak to a manager and no one picked up from any of the numbers. Walmart customer service is awful. The auto care was already awful there and they are always slow and under staffed. Only go to this auto shop if you want to wait 3 to 4 hours for a tire rotation and balance.

Perhaps the lowest price for the same service in market. Only a little problem, the mechanician topped up the windshield fluid for free when I asked for oil change, without asking for my agreement. This maybe okay for most people. But I drove from Michigan and I always use deicer because it's always below frozen point in winter. Now I am back in MI and it has been frozen.??

I will say that this Walmart location wasn't as terrible as the one in Hoover since I had some Amazon woman there try to run me over with her cart and say "F- you, B-!" So at least no one's done that to me at Pelham's location. Unfortunately, I hadn't been to a Walmart in years since I've lived so close to Super Target or other similar stores. Luckily, this is a stark reminder that I won't be back to one for years either. The first time I came here, I was in a hurry and needed some cushions for the sofa on my patio. When I got to the gardening section, the woman proceeded to tell me about how they "just had some the day before but they had a 50% off sale and had just sold out the day before", etc., etc. She kept going on and on and I just didn't care. Unlike someone from here, I don't feel an obligation to pretend to be interested, because I was in a hurry and where I'm from people's time is valuable. Today, against my better judgment, I came back and needed to get my car's belt tightened. First of all, I went to the opposite side of the store because when you come in straight toward the building, there's no indication, whatsoever, on the outside of the building that's visible that they have an auto body section. So I went to pick up and asked a patron outside if they had one. He told me it was on the opposite side. So I spend another 10 mins waiting on people to cross into the store to get to the opposite side. I pull up and park my car right outside the garage, anticipating needing to pull in, but unsure whether they had an opening or even whether they did stuff like tightening belts. I sat there, no joke, 10 mins. All the while, 3 or 4 dudes are just fartin around in there, only one car even being worked on. My belt's loud, btw. So if anything, I assumed they'd at least notice it and deduce that my car needed servicing. Finally, some huge dude half-assed saunters over to my car, SINGING, like he's got nothing better to do (mind you, he's at WORK) and finally tells me what I waited 10 mins to hear: "We don't do that." That was all I needed to hear. Did a 3 pointer and squealed my way outta that cesspool of laziness and will NOT be back.
