I have been taking my dogs to Dr. CHASTEEN for over 20 years. He is an excellent vet and cares for them like he would his own. I would recommend him to anyone. He will also see your animal after hours with the same loving care.

Dr. Casteen has cared for my animals/pets for many, many yearsWe had horses and one of our horses was very sick. I called several vets and found no one to come out on a Saturday morning. I called Auburn University and spoke to the professor of veterinary medicine and he explained everything that we needed to do and he gave us the phone number to have Dr. Chasteen for information about caring for horses and Dr. CHASTEEN made a house call late on a Sunday night and that horse lived until she was 31 years old. Doc still cares for my dogs. I wouldn't want to use any other vet. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP AND SUPPORT.

Excellent vet and staff! I wouldn't take my kitty cats anywhere else. Dr. Chasten has been our Vet for 12 years, and we wouldn't have it any other way!

Larry used to be the best but now you never see him or Hanna only staff sitting in a hot vehicle for hours getting misplaced in line half a— mail cuttings still full Amal’s and today was the last straw they quicked my babies nail never even acknowledged so it’s time to move on

Tater Tot was almost 9 when she died. Very loving and my baby. 1 week earlier I took her in and she was given some shots. Friday night she was having problems breathing and called 2 different times for the emergency number and called 3times and sent a text No one called me back! Chasteen only is denying I called but only received my text though he didn't answer. I have the times and how long I talked on my phone. It took Tater Tot just over 4 hours to die. Monday I called and noone got back they were busy called Tuesday and was told after 9 they don't answer I could of taken her to somewhere else? Noone said sorry for your loss just denied I called like I was mistaken. They have a profitable business they have an emergency number and then when you call numerous times don't answer and say you never did call. Tater Tot was everything to me and because after hours they can't be bothered she died for it! If I knew about them not answering or had other choices I would of taken her anywhere but they only give you a number to call. My loss I guess not theirs Very Very sad! Shame on Chasteen! Update...9/1/21 They finally updated the voice message and I also found out I was Not the first one to have a love one die waiting for them to call me back on the emergency number. Tater Tot mom's sorry!

Dr. Chasteen is absolutely amazing!!! I take all of my fur babies to him. He is the ONLY vet that I will trust with my babies. He is very up-front with you so there are not any unexpected surprises. His staff is amazing and go above and beyond to answer any questions or concerns you may have. His prices are very reasonable and he does not try to rip you off like some vets. There is honestly not one negative thing I can say about him or his staff.
