No problems with service. Good bank to bank at. The only issue is on the website for Saturday. It says they open at 8:00 a.m. but are closed till 8:30. Someone needs to update their website

My mother Cindy has had a banking account here for 23 years. We went in the office yesterday trying to get help with some financial stuff yesterday. Due to an old repo car loan that my mother and someone else signed on, she had no access to the car so she refused to pay for it nor did the other person. The bank made a profit on it. They want her to pay $500 on the debt with them to settle it. It is not showing up on her credit report but it is on Metro Bank’s side. So due to the repo loan, the loan officer denied us. When we first got there, he absolutely had no personality. He was very rude, very unprofessional and unfriendly. After he made my mother look two feet tall by being very rude, she did curse him because who wouldn’t? I would if someone made me look stupid. He told us that he will not listen to her argue with him and he told us with a hateful attitude to get out of his office. As we were walking out, I made sure to tell him that he was “Rude” and “May God bless you”. People who are rude to others really need to watch their tone, their actions and help people who are in need as much as they can. We changed banks today. I will not recommend anyone to use Metro Bank ever again. This is not acceptable for a bank that is so big and bigger than other banks in Pell City that also has branches all over the nearby areas. I opened an account with this bank while I was still in high school and got my first job and I kept it when I moved states because it felt small and like family. I even opened a savings account there after I moved because I had years of trust... all of which was broken this weekend. I had my car robbed and my wallet containing my social security card and debit card taken to which I reported and included an email about the robbery from my HOA and the police report I had filled out. the fraud investigator called me back to tell me that she believes there was no fraud and my story "has red flags" because the charges that were made weren't typical of a thief and that I must have gotten scammed into making 7 charges in a row at a Walmart for gift card for a phone I do not have and that they would not reimburse my $800+ theft because it didn't seem like my story made sense and that my next paycheck looked good enough to get by. I was sad and shocked as I have mouths to feed and bills to pay and have been loyally banking there for nearly 20 years. Please do not use this bank and risk your and your family's livelyhood should the worst happen. The fraud department just wants to look for reasons to allow your tragedy to be overlooked. I don't want to see anyone else suffer because they thought a small bank was better. I'll be closing my accounts as will my close relatives after this nightmare. You deserve better than being accused of criminal behavior after years of loyalty.

Banked with them for a few years. Constantly would have my card disabled, holds on deposits from my job and friends, and limits on how often you can withdraw you're own money. Customer service really does nothing to help you either and a lady in the loan department was extremely rude. Their app sucks to
