Rude employees that did not answer my questions and were not helpful at all. They also profile people who are poor to a point where they will hold money you desperately need on a Certified check.

WILL ONLY ALLOW YOU TO DO ONE TRANSACTION THROUGH THE BUISNESS LINE. WHATS THE POINT OF THE BUISNESS LINE IF YOU CANT DEPOSIT YOUR BUISNESS TRANSACTIONS, ESPECIALLY IF THERES NO ONE IN LINE BEHIND YOU AND NO ONE IN THE LINES BESIDE YOU AND THERE ARE 2 TELLERS AND THE OTHER TELLER IS PLAYING ON THEIR PHONE. I CALLED THE CORPERATE OFFICE AND THEY SAID THIS WAS NOT A THING IT HAS TO BE SOMETHING THE BRANCH MANAGER HAS COME UP WITH. I MAKE DEPOSITS IN BHAM EVERYDAY AND NEVER HAVE TO DEAL WITH THIS. SAD TO DEAL WITH THIS IN MY HOME TOWN

Haven’t ever had to deal with the pell city branch, I usually contact leeds or the one on 280 and they provide EXCEPTIONAL service and try and rectify all issues. The pell city location is awful. The assistant manager is horrifically rude. I called about THREE overdraft fees coming out of my account for ONE thing that overdrafted overnight before I got a chance to deposit cash. I called to find out why it took 3 out, totaling over $100. As soon as I said I had a question her response was “well I don’t understand what you want me to do I can see the same things as you can”. She continued to tell me my banking app was incorrect and I did not have money in my account and multiple pending transactions that “I could see” I have NEVER had issues seeing pending transactions or even with the money not coming out of my bank immediately for a “pending” transaction. She then told me the only accurate way to monitor how much money I have is to keep an “old fashioned check book”. I asked her again why I got charged THREE overdraft fees and she went through my account telling me all of the charges that still wouldn’t have led to me having three overdraft charges. She put me on hold 3 times in the middle of me talking and concluded the conversation by telling me she could only take one off, which I still haven’t seen the money back in my account, and that I would have to wait until her branch manager got back on Monday to resolve the issue and see if he could do anything for me at all, and that she would tell him I was “so distraught over the situation” in a super condescending tone. Absolutely disgraceful to handle business in this way in the middle of a pandemic where so many people are financially stretched. I wasn’t even fighting the first $36 charge, but the other two were absurd. Would not recommend this location, and it’s seriously making me reconsider banking with regions all together if this is how business will be conducted. I have been with them for 4 years and can understand mistakes when handled KINDLY and appropriately.

Cards constantly declining when I have the available balance to cover it, the chips constantly reads wrong so I have to swipe which defeats the purpose of a chip. Checks bounce when they shouldn't then theres the fact that regions is the most fee happy bank I've ever dealt with. Dont over draft by .10 cents I did one time and they charge me 36 bucks......make sure when u pay ur credit card that u leave the money in there cause I took out money and my account was 2 dollars shortstop my card payment was returned.....which they charged me 36 bucks for.....its crazy. I hate how this is the only majornon local bank here in pell city. We deserve better options only leaving 3 stars instead of 2 cause the ATM is super fancy, can cash/deposit checks, and deposit cash. Super nice ATM, When it works, just tried this mo re ning and it gave me a depositing error.

Someone walked into Regions Bank in Talladega, Alabama and got a cash advance on our account of $2900.00. I was just told that if the credit card matches the drivers license, that is all they check. WHAT? I told the lady they needed to change their policy. This guy made a fake credit card and fake drivers license and walked into this bank and got $2900.00 That is shocking to me!!!!! Beyond furious. No, we did not have to pay this amount, but someone did.

Do not bank here. Even though the branch is as nice as can be my wife and I opted out of several programs they have for fees and were still charged these fees. Call about it and thru said there is nothing they can do. Closed the account and moving to metro.
