Excellent, professional service. My vehicle has been serviced twice at Brakefields Garage. The first service was for the A/C, and it is working perfectly. Mr. *** did an inspection of the truck and pointed out a couple of things that needed attention. A period of time passed before I returned. Mr. *** did a followup inspection and found an additional problem. I received a call with a quote for the repairs. The work was completed in the time frame given me, and I was kept informed during the process. I have found my new repair facility for my vehicle.

Let me tell you that Brakefield's Garage is a real diamond in a cubic zirconia world. Having a mechanic in these times who is honest and fair priced is often so hard to find.Pat, the owner takes time with you to explain everything and give you the best options. He has done maintance and repair on both of my cars a number of times and always does such a top quality job.Today he was even honest enough to tell me something he could have kept to himself and by keeping quiet, could have made himself a few hundred dollars.I called him telling him my electric passenger seat was stuck pulled way up so it was virtually impossible for anyone to sit in it. He told me all the things it could be from a loose wire to having to replace a switch to having to replace the entire motor itself. He told me that depending on what it might be it could cost about $175.00 in labor just to locate the issue.I was willing to go with that process, but then he said that sometimes, if you can get up under the seat and hit the motor with something like a hammer, it could work again.I tried it and it worked perfectly. He didn't have to tell me that at all. He could have just said bring it in and I would have brought it in.If you have to have a good, honest and fair priced place to take your vehicle, Brakefield's is the place for you.Thanks Pat, for being there for the community and for being an honest and upstanding businessman. My mother broke down just south of Phenix City while headed south to Panama City to visit my wife and I. Her truck started overheating and smoking on the side of 431. She was scared, alone and unaware of what the problem was. I called Brakefields and I could not of asked for better service. They had a tow truck to her in less than 15 minutes. Mrs. Brakefeild personally picked her up, took her to the shop and then took her to and from the hotel for the night as the repair would take until the next morning. The price was fair, the work was impeccable and the service was incredible. I would like to personally thank the Brakefields and their staff for taking such good care of my mom. I will forever recommend the brakefields from here on out.Services: Engine repair
