I told him what I was trying to do (hook up two monitors to my laptop) and the lack of success I had trying to use an adapter I had bought from a competitor. He walked me through the steps I needed to make it work along with the right adapter to get up and running. I wish I knew his name so that I could give him personal thanks for this recommendation.
