Wilderness Park/Bamboo Forest is a small, scenic, and relaxing park. It is a beautiful and unique spot with a bamboo canopy that provides a lot of shade. The park features short trails and paths, including a loop, which make for a good, fun hike that can be walked in 15 to 30 minutes, perfect for a short stop or an afternoon activity. The paths have some exposed roots and need maintenance. Little trail signs tell about the trees and the at least four types of bamboo, which are interesting to see up close. There are no amenities or bathrooms onsite, but there is a picnic table and some seating. It is a quiet area with lots of bird and frog song, recommended for travelers to see at least once.
It's relaxing and scenic. No amenities, but a good hike. Little trail signs tells about the trees. Plus for about an hour with young kids. Ate a lunch in the parking lot. Quiet area.
