“I love a store .6 miles away that has what I need most of the time. If not I also have Family Dollar and Ohatchee Grocery. It's a win win for us old folks.”
“Great Inventory, more in stock in general than the local dollar generals. This location in particular have quite a bit of home decor options, as well as having the HomeGoods section.
Freezer section is similarly large, larger than the local dollar generals as well, although they do not offer fresh produce.
Employees at this location have been nothing but helpful and nice, although I do wish that they had a self check out.
Pricing at this store can be hit or miss by a few percent when compared to other similar locations.”

“My store in Pell city has recently gotten the best people who work there. One gentleman who I think is called Mario and the manager is great and very helpful and nice. These two really deserve a big hug and raise.”
“This is my “home” DG, about 7 minutes from my house. I’m here 5-7 times a week. By far my favorite location, it’s a smaller store but they do well keeping it orderly while placing a ton of freight.
Employees and management are great, never had any interaction that wasn’t pleasant, amongst hundreds.
Parking is great, it’s in the Piggly Wiggly strip mall.
Love the self checkout. Produce is also nice, although being next to a grocery store I wonder how profitable it can be for them.”

“I went to the ohatchee store and they were pnice to me from the min I walked in helped pay for my 2 items not knowingly 0pwhat happened to my trailer in June and in Dec the cashier she said sorry someone buried down your home hope u and your dad is okay please be careful sleeping in your jeep on your property all alone . I saw that your alone most of time when I drive by I wish I had the power to help u but u did by giving me 89 cents to help pay for my food items since I don't get enough FS no money other then hauling off scrape ..hope things get better she said I told her ty for that it's more than most people has done for me other then my neighbor the shepherds”

“One of our favorite go-to places when we are on the road is a Dollar General. Here you can find just about everything you need. Today was no exception. We needed a cat harness and a couple of cooking pots. We found these items in no time, and there was a selection to pick over.Like most Dollar General, the aisles are narrow, and it can be hard to navigate around, but this is not a problem for us. There was no clutter in any of the aisles. Very nice stop.”
