We have had nothing but TERRIBLE interactions with this pharmacy!! Medications not ready when we were told they’d be ready (they can’t even get the “auto refill” medications ready in time). I dropped off a prescription for my husband last Tuesday and asked them to go ahead and get it ordered and ready for pick up the following Tuesday. I went to pharmacy the following Tuesday and they didn’t have it in stock (even though the girl I spoke to the day before told me it would be ready). The pharmacist is EXTREMELY rude and unhelpful and the techs who work in the pharmacy aren’t any better. When I questioned the pharmacist about why the medication I had dropped off a week prior wasn’t ready when it should’ve be, she told me that they hadn’t gotten their delivery of meds put up yet and to call back later. I then asked her if she knew why the tech I had spoken to the day before told me that it was there and would be ready to go, her response was, “I don’t know, I wasn’t on the phone”.

Do NOT go here. Courtney, the pharmacist is a bully when you try to make a complaint. Calls old people liars and told me I needed to make whoever was picking up my child’s medicine aware of his information. Like it’s my fault she’s rude. Which is the source of the complaint. Not my grandmother not knowing the correct information to get my child’s medicine. They had a 88 year old woman so flustered and in TEARS after her visit here by the way they spoke to her. I see NO excuse for this. And by the way I was treated when I confronted Courtney about the situation, I can see why. Rude, aggressive, demeaning. Don’t make a complaint here unless you want to be victimized by this evil pharmacist!!!
And I can 100% say I’ve never been spoken to so badly and demeaned by someone in customer service before in my life. FIRE HER. Walgreens lost my business forever at this location.
To sum it all up, after my complaint to the pharmacist, I went to get my babies medicine and they said it wasn’t covered by my insurance. They didn’t even try. This medicine is filled monthly and has always been covered and now all the sudden they don’t know how to properly bill insurance for the medicine he has always received and been covered. That’s convenient.

They quickly filled my prescriptions. One was even difficult and they were able to get it processed quickly to get me in and out. That is super important when one doesn't feel well.

Horrible service. Horrible everything. Walgreens in RBC is hands down the worst pharmacy around. Moved all my meds to Publix.

My husband and I decided to sell our home after 18 years and move to Rainbow City so we could see more of our Children and Grands also family members!! My husband went to pick up his medication from Walgreens in RBC and when the young lady started to hand it to him the female pharmacist said not to give it to him because he already had another medication of that kind however the doctors know his health issues and have been writing these scripts for years ( no it was not any type pain medicine) the other Walgreens where we lived had no issues with it and when my husband told her that She Said Well Go Back Up There and told him to get out of the drive thru even though she had already charged our insurance company!!! Needless to say she had to uncharge the insurance company and yes we are making the drive back to our old Walgreens and they are glad to have us back!! All you have to do is look at the ratings and read the reviews and that’s so sad because I was so excited to be back around old stomping grounds and this is so not how I wanted us to spend our golden years 😢 How this woman keeps her job is so surprising to me and I have never wanted anyone to have that happen to them but she just lost them a lot of money and good customers!!!

I like that Walgreens has stores all across America so they have your Rxs wherever you go. However, my Walgreens gets some of their Rxs filled offsite so they won’t have the Rx until the next day, or worse the following Monday. That can be very bad for some Rxs such as an anticoagulant, and bad for patients coming out of the hospital who need to continue taking a medication at home the day of discharge. This business model may be good for Walgreens but will leave some patients untreated and may have serious adverse health consequences. GCR, MD.

Always a pleasant experience with this Walgreens. If there is an issue with a prescription it is usually because my insurance is holding it up on their end, not the pharmacies fault.

We received the wrong medication (another patients). When we went back to have it sorted out they acted as if it was our fault. It was also charged to the other patients card on file and the tech didn't even try to sort that out despite us telling her it was charged wrong.
Also had a terrible experience with pharmacist Jessica who was rude and condescending on the phone. After multiple attempts to get a medication filled that was very important, I called to get an update and Jessica spoke to me horribly. I work in Healthcare and cannot imagine speaking to a patient in that manner.
After multiple poor interactions, wrong medications, etc we are changing pharmacies. I know we will not be missed, but if you are looking for a pharmacy in RBC/Gadsden I highly recommend going to literally any other pharmacy in town.

Every time I go to this Walgreens there’s an issue. Today it was that they would not accept a coupon (from Walgreens website). This increased my payment by $80. This is not a pharmacy who cares about its customers. I will never be back.

I have used Walgreens for years for medication. Within the last 2 years the pharmacy has went completely down hill and has some of the absolute rudest employees. Can’t have prescriptions done on time, no one never really knows what they are even doing, and the automated system seems to never have the prescriptions sent in.

Multiple times I have been to pic up medication that was supposed to be ready only to get to the drive thru and was not ready for atleast another hour. On top of this the young lady at the window is very unprofessional and only cares about checking her phone during our interactions

I just wanted to say thank you to Zac for all the extra time and effort that he put into filling the prescription that I so desperately needed. He is always so kind and helpful with my family. Thanks again Marsha Gamblin

I took a prescription there today and asked that they fill it at Pell City. I was rudely told to go to Pell City.
This place always sucks to visit. Walgreens is an awful retailer to me. Anywhere but there.
