I tried to use my $5 off coupon the lady was very rude to me and also the herbal essences had a $3 coupon that was on the shelf but again she was very rude saying she just cancel the whole transaction. I was just trying to use my coupons and left embarrassed and upset.

The Store is always organized and clean. Restrooms are always clean, but there is an older woman that usually runs the register and she is the rudest woman I have ever came in contact with. She is just short tempered with anybody that comes to her line like I was waiting to hang the restroom key up and this older woman was using a card and I think she might’ve hit the wrong button on the machine and she was like oh I am so sorry. I think I hit the wrong button and the cashier was like yeah you did very rudely. and I just shook my head. Every time I have ever entered that store and that woman has been working I will avoid her. I will go to the self check out just because I know how rude she is. I honestly don’t understand how she still has her job.

I Today, while visiting Rainsville, I stopped by the DG Market. The empty parking lot, save for vendor deliveries, should have been a sign, but I was in a rush and only needed a few items. At checkout, I approached register 1, where a cashier named "CH ISTY" was stationed. She didn't acknowledge me, prompting me to initiate a greeting, to which she responded with a puzzled "What?" My question about her greeting habits was met with silence. It seemed Ch Isty was indifferent to customer service, making me regret not using the self-checkout for a more personable experience--from a machine, no less!
The name Ch Isty is a jest, of course. I presume her name tag lost the letter "R," and her actual name is Christy. Upon returning home and beginning this review, I noticed a pattern of negative feedback regarding the DG Market, with "rude" being a common descriptor. It appears that a discourteous attitude, potentially stemming from management, has permeated the staff.
For those seeking quality customer service, I recommend bypassing the DG Market and heading to Foodland or Food City instead. The DG Market is not a market, it is a place where you will be treated rudely.
This review, along with my concerns, will be forwarded to the Corporate Offices of Dollar General. It's crucial they investigate this store and retrain their employees to understand the importance of customer satisfaction.

The two older employees are the rudest women I have ever met, and seem to be on a power trip. They for sure shouldn’t be working in retail. This location also likes to make up its own “rules” and claim that corporate makes them do it, but when you call corporate they say otherwise. It’s really more of an inconvenience to stop here. If you need groceries there is a grocery store across the road, and also another dollar general near by with nicer employees.

Some of the rudest women work there. I never again will return to this location. I've been in there several times and every single time the same 2 women are so rude.

Idiots... very rude idiots. Once went in and tried to buy something but it wouldn't ring up on the register. The lady working the checkout that day literally said " I'm not doing this right now." anyways, ended up getting forced to leave as she wouldn't even look at me when I was trying to figure out why the register wouldn't work

This is the closest DG to my house, but every time I walk in there the vibe is so off. I bought a few items this morning and have no idea what the person was thinking but I paid for my stuff then walked over to the flowers to see if I wanted some to cheer me up. The Lady walks over to my self checkout where I left a few items I already bought, looks at my receipt then throws it away in the garbage. I guess I didn't want that ?♀️ Idk if she wasn't paying attention or checking to see if I paid for my items. I get people steal but you know, not everyone.

I’ve had many unpleasant experiences with the two older women who work there. Ones name is Rita. She honestly makes me dread going in there. Her attitude is horrible. If you ask a question she looks at you like you should know the answer. I’ve called cooperate but obviously that does no good, because I’m obviously not the only one having bad customer service from her.

This store has the absolute worst check out I honestly think I can drive to the next closest one in powel check out and be home before I can even make it to the register, other than that everything has been fine I just know there is no way to get in and out in a hurry.
