Big Star is one of three grocery stores in its small, busy town. It offers normal grocery store items, with customers noting really fresh produce and products in general. Many praise its fresh cooked items and great prepared meals, like chicken, meatloaf, pulled pork, turkey, mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes. Some find it a little expensive but overall clean and tidy. The staff includes typical high schoolers. While some wish for more Hispanic items, others trust the store for the best meat, calling the steaks awesome.

Cold inside store but several employees were restocking all the shelves for a big weekend town celebration. This is a nice grocery with fresh cooked items as well as normal grocery store items. One of 3 grocery stores in this small but busy town. A little expensive but what isn't now.

Always fond awesome salad dressing and jams when I visit from out of town. We love Big Star. Senior day is Tuesday
