“I wish I could give more stars! My German Shepherd pup has been a regular patient here for several months. Every time he comes here, he is so happy and loves all of the staff. All of the staff are so loving and kind to all of the animals, not just mine. Last night I had to take my baby to the ER for gastrointestinal issues and it was a long night to say the least. Today, 15 minutes before this office opens, I was texted by the office number asking if my pup was ok because they saw in his records that he had been to the ER last night. Wow… I have never had a vet office check in after an emergency for my pet. I took my pup in for a follow up appointment this morning, and they had to stick a tool in his rectum to see if he had an intestinal blockage. Normally my dog is very high energy and may try to nip when he is uncomfortable, but he laid in the arms of the staff and whimpered and cuddled against them while they held him down. This shows me that my pup has a lot of trust and love for the staff here, because he is very expressive and he communicates his emotions very loudly through his behaviors. I have had dogs over the years and I have had many different vets across this country, and none of them were as kind, compassionate, as good at diagnosing, and as good at their job as Dr. Gill is. I have told my husband that we are so lucky to have such excellent vet care nearby, and I wouldn’t dream of taking our baby anywhere else. I never want to move for fear that I wouldn’t find as good care anywhere else for my pup! Take your fur baby here, you won’t regret it.”

“Our Rottweiler Maddie had not just one but two injured Cranial Cruciate Ligaments in her "knees", and we were facing $8-10k in really invasive surgeries. Dr. Bercier suggested we try stem cell therapy, and the improvement has been incredible. Maddie's gone from being nearly crippled at her worst, to now having pain-free confident movement. She can run and play like a healthy dog, which is so gratifying! Based on our experience, I can't recommend this highly enough.”

“If I could give this vet office a 10 star review, I most certainly would. I have had my animals at a previous vet office for 20+ years, and recently have decided to make a switch. After my animals were kenneled at their previous vet office, where one of my dogs received a severe staph infection, I decided to make a permanent switch. Happy Acres treated one of my dogs for the staph infection, she is doing very well! The other dog had a tumor removed by Happy Acres, and the surgery also went well! Dr. Luckie is very attentive to the needs of the animals! Ms. Kim, who has cared for my animals during their stay, has went above and beyond to care for both of my dogs! She has been so kind and it is evident that she enjoys her job. The girls at the front office have been nothing but thoughtful, keeping me informed during my pets' stay when anything needed addressing. I am very grateful I found Happy Acres! My extended family and close friends are very aware of how wonderful this experience has been, I am so glad to have found such a wonderful team of people who have cared for my animals as if they were their own!

I've gone through a really rough time with one of my felines with little to no answers on her condition before coming to Dr Powe for her help. My only regret is NOT coming to her sooner. “My 11 year old male boxer began having some strange symptoms which I discussed with and were checked by Dr. Riddick in December 2025 during his annual checkup. After his symptoms worsened we took him in again this past week and he was seen by Dr. Stewart. We have been taking him to Baldwin Animal Clinic ever since we moved to Fairhope in 2020. He has had a couple of minor surgeries, the most recent one was performed by Dr. Birdsong. His very first visit there was with Dr. Stewart. We have also boarded him there several times while we were traveling. These folks are the best...just wonderful! The doctors, the front desk staff, and all of the other employees have treated our dog with so much love and wonderful care. We are so blessed to have this veterinary clinic close to our home.”

“One week ago tonight I brought my 17 year old donkey in, that was very sick from a poisionous snake bite. He was struggling to breathe and many more complications and I wasn't sure if he would make it. The staff jumped into action and started the anti-venom drip and during the night was given 2 bags of fluid. He not only lived but is thriving and is as spoiled as ever. They saved his life. This facility and their staff is one of the finest I have ever dealt with. I could not recommend them enough. They are fantastic! Thank you Gulf Coast Equine Hospital.”

“The staff is amazing. My dog goes right back with any of them without hesitation and he never leaves my side normally. They are so sweet to him. (130lb Rotty) The vets and the techs are so knowledgeable I never have to question anything they tell me to do for him. They had to do emergency surgery on him his first visit because our regular vet couldn’t get him in and we switched that day to make them our permanent vet. We are very grateful for them”
