Very beautiful park. The lodge or the cabins are fantastic for a stay. Fishing, golf, swimming, and trail hiking. Just you or a group will enjoy your time at this park.

Came with the Rivertree church retreat. The rooms were nicer than I expected. The views are beautiful right off the water. The prime rib dinner buffet was fantastic and the serving staff was excellent. I will definitely return again.

The park us exquisite. We had two rooms with great views. The linens were new. One room was great even though the lodge is aging!

It’s a great little get away. The staff at the front desk are always very nice and offer good information on the area. The rooms are pretty dated and due an update, as well as the surrounding property, but the rooms are spacious and all have a great view of the lake or pool and lake. Lots of wildlife outside at night and deer running across the road, so drive slowly. We love the pool. Bring your own food, there’s only one restaurant close and it’s not good.
Walkability: Lots of nearby trails to explore.
Food and drinks: Bring your own food, one restaurant that is overpriced and not good.

The rooms were probably good 40 years ago. They needed an update a long time ago.
Food and drinks: We ate at the restaurant on a Thursday night. The food took over an hour to get. It wasn’t good at all. The lettuce and the slaw were warm. The bathroom had water and toilet paper all in the floor. One stall didn’t have toilet paper. There were two garbage cans running over into the floor. I won’t be visiting again.

It should have been obvious but we (my niece and I) did not know the difference between a Lodge and a Hotel. A Lodge is where you basically sleep for the night. And now that I know, it makes more sense. The rooms were clean and there was a little frig and microwave. The balcony was awesome! It overlooked the river. It was peaceful. There's a restaurant downstairs and we had all you can eat prime rib...it was great! Only problem I really had was I put our dirty towels out and asked for new ones, but never got them. Luckily, I always pack a couple, just in case. All together , our visit was peaceful and I got to spend time with my niece, so I am happy ?!

Great staff! Leisha and Annie were wonderful! Leisha works night shift. She was full of knowledge and history of park. Park has a deer herd of 60, with 3 sets of triplets just this past year. Joe Wheeler was a confederate leader and came to this location. He married a widow if a war hero. She actually owned the land. When they married, his name was put on land deed. Annie was morning staff. She was very high energy. She was very personal.
Love my stay!

The shower didn’t work had no hot water, coffee pot leaked and they charged $163 for 1 night but it didn’t stop there. They charged 24 cents, $163, then on day 2 they let us stay till 1pm but then charged us $100 and another $40. One charged at 150pm the other at 2pm only thing is, we were already gone. $100 cleaning fee cause they say there was something sticky on the floor and something on the bed cover, but isn’t the house keeper responsible for cleaning? And the vending machine was broke. They desk clerk was good but the manager is a rude and nasty person, she caused us of stealing wash cloths and towels which was very hurtful because that is one thing we do not tolerate and would never ever take something that wasn’t ours. Will Never Go Back!!!Address is 4403 McLean Dr. Rogersville AlabamaRooms: No hot water, coffee pot broken, tub faucet about to fall off.Food & drinks: Vending machine was broken, took $5 and got nothing.Noteworthy details: They took money from my credit cards for things we didn’t do and were already gone from room

Went for a stay here and while the room was dated, the customer service was good. Let's face it you go to a place like this for the wildlife and there was plenty there to see!
