The staff has seemed competent and compassionate, however, they seemed unprofessionally rushed on a Sunday & eager to leave when I got out of the ER to pick up new medications. It was about an hour before closing & we needed clarity on how to take the medications. Been here more than once when they just feel understaffed and in a rush. Feels a little unsafe to be that rushed with patients having new medications. We didn't feel able to ask questions and we did find later that that would have been useful. Hopeful that this review is constructive to pause for questions and increase staff if necessary.

I shop here at least once a week and the service up front is Excellent! But I use the CVS App to order my Focus Factor 120count $49, Vitamins every month. I use my coupons and bonuses for my store purchases and app purchases every time & get a great deal on my items. $49-$27!! I can’t get them to keep Focus Factor in stock though because they don’t do the ordering anymore CVS sends them what to sell.
I also use the Pharmacy for all of my medications. They are very busy with so many orders that I have to leave a message when I call and they call me back. It’s a little aggravating. The pharmacy service depends upon who is working that day. It’s much better than it was before the pharmacy manager changed. The new pharmacy manager is excellent and so is the other pharmacist who regularly works there. The girls are so busy that they have a lot of tension and stress and it shows in their conversations with their customers about their medication and prescriptions and refills etc. some are very nice people who always smile and are very friendly, and others are in an extremely rushed position and are sometimes very rude and make you feel like you are a problem and not a customer. But it’s better than it was. I’m just always honest about things and can only tell you my experiences. But I’m not against them in any way; I understand. They are great with scheduling my prescriptions each month and filling them & send me a text when they are ready for pick up. If they don’t have a prescription in stock, they order it and it’s usually there the next day and ready for pick up. Our whole family has switched over to CVS for our prescription needs now. I use discount cards the pharmacy has to help me with cash purchases and Good RX too. Like I have said I’m there once or twice a week and I know them pretty well and they know me too much too.
I appreciate them and they help me out any time that I am in need, so I just can’t say anything bad about them at all really!! Two Very Good Pharmacists!! Great Team Too!

Employees are very nice. DO NOT GO HERE FOR PASSPORT PHOTO!!! I did and they are NOT acceptable. Had to pay to have their photos redone to meet requirements for government. Cost me as much as I spent at CVS.
Should have used an app for free and paid the passport website to adjust it to make requirements.
If I need something else, will return because of the nice people that work there.

The male pharmacist needs an attitude adjustment along with the techs I have had to deal with. This is the most rude incompetent and poor excuse for customer service I have encountered in my 75 years on earth. I urge everyone who has given 1 star ratings to contact CVS headquarters by calling or emailing. I don’t know who that cocky pharmacist thinks he is but he needs reprimanded and after reading the Google reviews needs to lose his job.

Oct 3 2024 the pharmacist was so rude and abrasive to me I was stunned. I plainly told the tech I only wanted 30 day supply of my Armor thyroid medication and also dropped off my Mounjaro to be filled after leaving for 3 hours I come back to find they’d filled the 90 day supply which was 95.00 and my insurance does not pay for the Armor thyroid the pharmacist said I’d have to wait an hour for them to fix their mistake when I plainly told the tech 3 hours previously, I then said I’ll just have pick up my mounjaro and he said NO you have to wait and get them both I said just give me my Mounjaro script I’ll go elsewhere he said it will be 30 minutes so I came inside and had my phone on video recording I asked him his name he said I didn’t need to know I said how do I get in touch with corporate he didn’t reply I said what is your name again he refused to give me his name…never in my 53 experienced such rudeness from a so called “professional “ if that’s all CVS can get to run their pharmacies then they need to shut their doors . When he saw I was videotaping him I had my script in a minute instead of 30 minutes he previously stated.

Since they're incompetent to get a script filled after being called over 2 hours ago. We have to wait on the side where they can see us another 20 minutes or hours if we leave is what they told us when I brought my mom to get her meds.

They treated me very late, terrible service, the medications took more than a week despite going three times a week to pick them up and they did not want to deliver them to me

Hello, my name is Maglenni Adames, a resident of the city of Russellville Alabama and I am writing to you why today I was a victim of discrimination and was denied my civil right, good treatment by customer service and by pharmacy employees CVS in the city of Russellville Alabama... Today Sunday at 11:30 in the morning I went to the CVS pharmacy in Russellville Alabama to pick up my mother Aurora Rocha's medications since she suffered a medical relapse the night before due to her hypertension and I had been prescribed new medications, today I went to the pharmacy and asked customer service to please give me my mother's medication, I gave them the prescription along with my mother's ID and the customer service customer arrogantly and mockingly told me that I couldn't I didn't deliver my mother's medications without my mother's Medicare card, I returned home to get my mother's Medicare and social security card and gave it to the customer service at CVS Pharmacy in Russellville, Alabama, the employee automatically rudely and arrogantly says these IDs don't. it does not correspond to a real medicare number, they automatically tell me this, I contacted the medicare office and they confirmed that my mother's medicare card number is correct. However, despite this, the CVS pharmacy staff closed their delivery window without giving me any response. as to what would happen with the delivery of my mother's medications. At that moment I asked for an explanation and they only responded in a humiliating manner that it was already lunchtime and that I had to return to the pharmacy at 2:00 in the afternoon. I left the pharmacy and returned at 2:00 in the afternoon of the same day and one of the employees told me in a threatening and discriminatory manner that he would not sell my mother's medications without giving me any explanation. My mother ran out of high blood pressure medication and the employees at the CVS pharmacy in Russellville, Alabama humiliated me and treated me like garbage.

Pharmacy is rude and not just unhelpful, but actually set me back a week in my medication because they told me at first they would order it, it would take a week. I wait a week and they inform me that I need to just find another pharmacy. They handled me rough. To the point I will never step foot in that store again and I’ve had my family switch to a different pharmacy also.
